If you live in the Southern half of Dallas County-Duncanville, Desoto, Cedar Hill, or Lancaster- this is probably the only true and traditional family -owned Italian restaurant in the area. It sits in a strip mall area but dont let that deter you. Amores Pizza and Pasta is Little Italy in the midst of the South! I had one of my favorites -the Chicken Picatta- and it was perfectly flavored. Not too tart. It had artichoke hearts which I adore! The rolls that come with dinner are light and fluffy with a tinge sweetness to them. I saw the pizza and thought I need to try that but I was getting full from the huge portion of Chicken Picatta. Next time because it looked so yummy! I urge you to try Amores Pizza & Pasta ASAP! Supporting locally owned businesses not only helps them but it helps you as well to feel the love of community through food!!

Ah-Maze-Ing!! Im the type of person who likes to try new things, so over the past couple years I have tried several new things on the menu, All absolutely DELICIOUS!! I literally have never been disappointed. Just recently Ive changed my eating style to things more healthy (ie. no pork, no red meat) and I was still able to find things on the menu to accommodate my new diet. There was even a time where I was fasting from meat (only eating fish) and the owner made a tilapia florentine specially just for me, & it wasnt even on the menu at the time! Very warm and gracious folks. Be sure to stop by and check them out!

Today was my familys first time at Amores and all we can say is WOW, WOW, YUMMY!!! We had a taste for pizza and let me tell you guys, this place does not disappoint. My family will never eat pizza from any other place. My kids and hubby are so happy and full right its fabulous. I cant wait to come back with just the hubs and I so we can enjoy a romantic little dinner together. This is such a cute quaint little place. Our server Rick was amazing as well. He was so attentive and answered all of our questions. To top it off, this place is BYOB!!! Yeah, were totally coming back very soon. Maybe tomorrow.

Have had 2 very pleasant dining-in experiences here recently. Food is actually quite good, atmosphere is calm and nice. Overall, a great value. Id like to see them become a popular staple in the area. In Duncanville but not far from I-20 (Grand Prairie) or Cedar Hill.

This place is great! The food is really tasty and they have a lot of options. The service is always good. Food comes out quickly and never disappoints. They have a nice room where Ive seen more than a few gatherings held.And theyre BYOB which is always nice.

Was very iffy about it cause some one told me the previous one sucked but i took the risk yesterday ordered 2 extra large went home a nd was extremely happy even called my mom and told her we dont have to drive all the way to cederhill for some good pizza

We order from Mr Rick all the time and he is always professional and great service. Tons of stuff on menu and love most of the stuff I have tried so far. Definitely check out this place for a nice sit down or to go food. LOVE THEIR PIZZA ! :O

Most pizza places have a "large" that is the size of a medium. Amores large is actually a large. Their x-large is huge and their 2 topping XL for $10.99 is the best deal in town - great tasting pizza, great price!
