Before writing this, I would like to say that this is my favorite sushi restaurant in Dallas thats affordable.. But I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the service this time. The restaurant closed at 11pm and we arrived at 10. For avid sushi eaters, Im sure youre aware that 1 hour to eat sushi will suffice. Its not like we walked in 10 minutes before close. We were told 4 times by the waiter that the restaurant closed at 11, even though we already knew that and were prepared to leave before that time. He rushed us the entire time and when we would ask questions, we were usually answered with "we close at 11.." YES. THANK YOU. WE KNOW. Sooooooo rude and ridiculous. Not sure Ill be back because of this. I worked in the restaurant business for 15 years and never have I seen such a thing. If a customer walks in 10 minutes before close, yeah it sucks, but you just do your job with a smile. Not passive aggressively let them know you want to leave, so hurry up. Absolutely uncalled for.

Just a fancy decor in great location. Nothing more. The sushi is average or less. The fish didnt taste fresh and the rolls were with to much rice and a bit of fish. I ordered Philadelphia roll, and got it after 15 min of waiting, the roll came with a lot of rice and cheese and a very small amount of salmon... The thing is, they over charge because of the location and the nice decor and atmosphere, but food wise... i had better sushi before, way better... The 3 stars its again, because of the location and the nice balcony, view and design, but if I had to rate the food it would probably be less then 2 stars.

Gotta love there happy hour till 8pm and again at 10pm. No matter what food your order, from their sushi, to chicken wings to army soup, everything on the menu is bombdotcom! They have a full bar and a wide selection of sake. I always get kikusui sake.Tastes great and goes down smooth. This is my go to spot any day of the week. The staff is quick and super friendly. Theyll do anything and everything in their power to give you the best experience possible. No matter what day you go, its always poppin. Great music, great vibe, great service. You cant ever go wrong coming Reikyu Sushi & Bar!

My husband and I were there last night and saw two rats running along the ceiling beams; one eventually jumped up into a hole in the wall near the ceiling. When we told the waitress she told her co-worker who started laughing. By his reaction and the steel wool we noticed after we saw one of the rats I suspect he/the staff know about the problem. Needless to say, they still tried to serve us our meal, which we declined and left.

I had high hopes for this place but alas....I can here for a business dinner on the early side. The restaurant was empty and there was a ton of staff here yet they some how still had terrible service. Fish wasnt very fresh and the rolls where so so but very expensive. To top it off they didnt take Amex so included use my corporate card. You are in Dallas is 2017 - take Amex.

Very expensive for what you get. Sushi is fresh, food is tasty, but you can get the same for much less elsewhere. Atmosphere is nice.
