Okay, let me begin at the beginning. Two weeks ago my business partner and I were doing a photo shoot at Fair Park. I stumbled across this place because I needed to find a restroom. I ordered a slice of the quickest pizza they could give me for my business partner. It was a slice of pepperoni. Mark took one bite and was so impressed that he and his wife have been back twice already! Mark has traveled to every state in the country and is an avid pizza lover so I knew that if he was impressed, I would need to try it for myself. We went last night and as expected it was amazing!!! Fantastic!! We were warned before we even put our drink orders in that the pizza is made fresh so it takes a little while to come out. I appreciate the heads up and would have ordered an appetizer if I was super hungry. This place may not be the quickest but if you want fast, go to a drive through. Have a beer and relax because it is totally worth the wait. I don't understand the reviews that say the pizza was greasy because we got just about the only pizza that would be justified if it was greasy, but it wasn't. It was perfect and crispy, and too good to not go back every week. I eat really healthy and clean the entire week and get one "Cheat meal" a week. Sometimes I feel like it gets wasted if the food is bad but not this time, the food is so fresh and natural that I don't even feel guilty for eating it. I didn't have that typical heavy feeling of junk food in my stomach and woke up ready for a work out this morning. I also don't understand the reviews that say it is "too trendy" it is eclectic in my opinion and we took my 60 yr old parents, republican, strict- non hippie types and they still had a blast. If you don't like the inside site outside and enjoy the breeze. Anyway there's just not enough good things to say about this place. I will become a regular im sure.

I ate at the Pizza Lounge for the first time this weekend and was very impressed. I consider myself someone who is truly a lover of food. Its not just about the way food tastes; its about the ingredients used, the atmosphere, the service and how those aspects of dining are packaged into one presentation. There are so many layers to a pizza. From the crust, to the way the cheese melts; to the fresh meats and vegetables. The Pizza Lounge offers a variety of pies to choose from and each one showcases the freshest ingredients I have ever experienced on a pizza. Their crust is amazing as well. The owners took the time to explain how their pizzas are made and the care that is put into creating their dough from scratch. Their service was spot on and I felt more like family than I did a customer. The color scheme and decorations provide this restaurant with a relaxing and trendy feel. Its upscale yet comfortable and calming. Its a great restaurant to bring a date to or to enjoy with your family and/or children. Remember this is not a fast food pizza chain. These are pies made from scratch and from what I have gathered; the restaurant takes great pride in delivering a perfect meal to ensure customer satisfaction. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience and would highly recommend this establishment.

Great food and the atmosphere is pretty nice. The service, however, is a different story. We arrived at around 8pm tonight and it wasnt even busy. The server told us shed be starting us with water and after a while of waiting for the water that never came, we just asked to order something else. After another while, she came and took our order (mentally, didnt write anything down) reassuring us that our drinks (a coke, pineapple juice, and 2 waters) would be arriving soon. She then returned after maybe 10mins asking us to repeat our orders because "the register is down," and if anyone had brought us our drinks. After about 45-50minutes of waiting we FINALLY got half of our drinks. Then another 10minutes, our pizzas finally arrived. After an hour of originally arriving, the rest of our table finally received their waters after asking the server for them again. It wouldve been a different story had it been busy but there were few tables and the other servers seemed very attentive to their tables, even helping bring out our food and clearing plates whereas our server seemed available to every other table except ours for whatever reason.

Well I love this place, the owner is very nice some of the waitstaff is nice, one of the waiters was not helpful at all. Some how TWO different types of HAIRS ended up on ONE of my slices of pizza which is absolutely disgusting. They looked like different hairs. Very gross, maybe the guys who made it didnt like us or thought it would be hilarious, maybe they just dont wear hair nets. Anyway for TWO HAIRS to be on ONE SLICE of pizza is very disturbing as it the lighting is very dim at this joint. So I get to work today and heat up my slice and in bright light, spot two different short hairs, one sort of thick one not so much. It was repulsive. Now I am wondering if I ate any hairs last night, how many more hairs were on the pizza, just so uncertain. This really is a bummer because I really used to love the Pizza Lounge. Now all i can think about is how much hair can fall into food as they prepare it. And the waiter actually said "I dont know", and to another question answered "I cant even describe it."

Worst service we had while visiting Dallas. My sister and I didnt eat but the rest of our group did and there was one particular waiter that was horrible! (Small, young guy with dark hair) I had a drink with a lemon but had to ask for it 3 times.... I finally took one from my friends sweet tea. After that, he brought me a lime... Same thing happened with my other friend who asked for ranch with her pizza. She had almost finished her pizza before he brought the ranch out. It was really bizarre. However, there was another waiter that was a lot better at his job. I do appreciate him. (older guy with tattoos behind the bar, thank you) Finally, another friend ordered a slice of cheese pizza. Not only did they bring her pepperoni pizza, they charged her the extra $1.50 for it even though she didnt order it! Overall, I would go back to this place if our original waiter no longer worked there. Or no longer waited tables.

I had the worst experience ever here at this place. The owner of the pizza lounge is very rude and disrespectful. He told me you a people come in here all the time playing games. All I asked for was I pizza with all meat and no veggies. He tried to over charge me and not give me the special that I have been getting over 2+ years. After talking to my coworkers and friends about this situation I found out that everyone has had their own bad experience there. Even though the pizza is ok the prices are outragous and the owner is rude. We all decided as a non profit organization we would no longer spend our hard worked for money in his business. We have had over 8 companIes meetings there. My friends also agreed we would eat somewhere else.I am a Known Blogger and yes I will be giving my reviews on this rude business owner. Yet, somebody please tell me what the hell does you people mean.
