We LOVE Liberation! It is such an awesome coffee shop with *legit* coffee - Ive never experienced a coffee shop with such a passion for quality coffee before. Ive learned a ton about coffee and trust that the owners and staff are committed to continuing to educate the community on how amazing coffee can actually be, when done right! I love everything Ive tried - the Chemex pour over is my favorite, and Ive even had help from the owners to learn why I like it and how I could attempt to make it at home! My husband deems the cold brew the best hes ever found, including better than making it at home. Our three young ones are quite in love with the smoothies and the occasional Con Panna with decaf espresso - I have a feeling theyll grow up understanding *real* coffee in a way I am just beginning to, through Liberation. The owners have been awesome about hosting small business and community group events, as well. Its an awesome place to be, by far the best coffee shop in Coppell!

First visit I had a cappuccino and it wasnt so good. The barista visibly under filled the portafilter and under extracted the espresso. My colleague also was not impressed with his drink. I have since been back two more times to give it a second chance, since the owner left such thoughtful feedback to my original negative review. Both times I ordered a pour over of their Ethiopian coffee and it was excellent. The baristas were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall my impression has definitely changed for the better and I would definitely recommend Liberation Coffee to others. My apologies to the owner for my original review - maybe the barista was having an off day.

I did not have a good drink last time someone grabbed me a iced coffee with coconut milk. They said it doesnt mix well, but at Starbucks, it does. Not sure why that time was really bad. Also the flavor was like old coffee bean flavor. I wanted to give them a chance again, and I got a cold brew and it was much better. But, the prices are a little much for what it is. Same size and same drink at Starbucks cost had the price . No sure lol if they just dont buy their coffee as much in bulk, but that is too pricey to make it a weekly habit here. But the atmosphere is nice. The people are nice.

Perfect place for a casual, flavorful cup of coffee. If you can get over the price of a nice cup of coffee (which is average for most local coffees), this place is really great for a local cup of Joe. The servers are nice and answer questions thoughtfully. They seemed to be dedicated to getting the order right. The coffee had this aftertaste that reminded me of pretzels, and I really liked it. Four stars because the service is a little slow paced, and it was a little small and bare to me. (Or maybe I just dont get the ambience.) Either way, Ill be back!

What a fantastic coffee shop! All I have had so far is the normal "drip" coffee here, but it is full of flavor and from a local roaster. There is a lot of seating, good music, and an overall great vibe to this place. Whether you are looking for a place to hang out with a friend or get some work done, I think you will be pleased with this place. The 2 guy baristas I talked with are also really friendly and dont have that "snobby barista" vibe that I would often encounter up in the Seattle area when I was living there. Ill be back!

Great location right off 121, the coffee is amazing! Its strong and full of flavor... not burnt (sorry Starbucks) The coffee also has a wonderful mocha after taste and the banana bread from Zenzero is fantastic! The baristas are knowledgable and the owners are keen on keeping customers happy and informed about coffee choices. They also host monthly events that Ive really enjoyed! Id recommend staying in and enjoying your coffee in store if you have the time. Keep it up Liberation!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Im always treated like family, the atmosphere is super laid-back, the staff is absolutely lovely, and the coffee is ALWAYS perfection. The menu is simple, yet allows for total customization. With coffee cuppings and new featured roasters each month these guys provide the very best coffee there is. This is by far my favorite place to snag a cold brewed coffee and a pastry, and relax. Liberation Coffee Co. is as good as it gets, yall.

Worth the buck. Good assortment of bakery items. Barrista was friendly. This is a shade expensive than Starbucks, but quality is definitely better. Local store where people make drinks for you. I felt a people connection, unlike at other chain stores. I got a mocha. It was very well done.

Great coffee, awesome service, and wonderful atmosphere. Mostly quiet all the time but still has people coming and going. Wifi is usable (8Mbps down at current time) plenty of space to relax, work, or socialize.

I am giving this place 3 stars because of the atmosphere not the coffee. They have some good teas and free WiFi but if you want a really good cup of coffee go a little further up the road to Coffeeholic.

Excellent, excellent coffee! Friendly employees, comfortable atmosphere, definitely vastly superior to the cookie-cutter corporate coffee chains. One of the best cups of coffee Ive had in a while!
