THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE LAKE CONROE/APRIL PLAZA MARINA LOCATION ONLY: We went to eat dinner and the service was horrible. We had to send my 8-year old grandson over to ask someone to refill our water/tea and chips/salsa any time we needed refills. Nobody came and checked on us at all. Additionally, our food came out (only four adults/one child dining at our table) in "shifts." The adults were served almost 15 minutes before the childs dinner came. The adults food was cold and about 1/2-way through our meal (we were seated outside and they had 5 floral vases on the raised bar area that was less than 2 feet from our table) a gust of wind blew through blowing the vases over and sending shards of glass into my grandsons leg and all over my infant granddaughters body). We asked for a manager to get bandages and cleaning supplies. They could not locate him. We paid our bill and were given a GRACIOUS (cough cough) discount of $5 for our injuries and time. I can guarantee that I wont be back, the ambiance isnt worth the problems incurred.

Not impressed. We opened the door to walk in and we were immediately hit with strange odors from this place, like it wasnt exactly clean. I ordered a beef plate and the meat tasted so peculiar and strange that I couldnt eat it. I brought it home in a to-go box and Im seriously considering having it analyzed to see if it was beef. Ive never tasted beef that tasted so odd. Approx 12 hrs later I was sicker than a dog. No, we wont be going back to this place. They really need to work on giving the place a good thorough cleaning top to bottom.

From the drinks, huge patio, live music on the weekends, great food, and friendly staff this is the best Mexican place in town. The decor is very pretty and bathrooms are usually clean. The food always comes out hot and the drinks are cold. The staff is friendly and willing to accommodate if needed for large parties. The huge patio is amazing for after work drinks. The view isnt the best but the drinks make up for it. We have ordered a variety of items and not been disappointed. Bring the kids, have a drink, and enjoy.

Might be just the worse mexican restaurant that I have been to. I had to wait about 20 before we even placed the order and another 20 before the food arrived. I ordered the full Nacho Grande and there were maybe 12 chips on the plate. I would hate to see what the half order would have been. The plate was very hot from being in the oven, but the chips was very soggy. I was asked twice if I wanted more chips before dinner and they never brought more. The taste was not anything to write home about either.

Last time my husband and I ate here, we were met with crappy service, couldnt tell which of the three people waiting on us was our actual server, the wait time was long, and our drinks were constantly empty. Food was delicious, but expensive. When we left, my husband asked who he was supposed to tip, and, him being a cook and myself being a waitress turned stay at home mom, we agreed that no one deserved a tip other than the cook. Will not he returning.

I dont see how people like this salsa the tomatoes are sour. The fajitas where a joke. I have never been to a place where the fajitas did not have bell peppers. Also there was no lettuce bed. You got 2 spoons of Pico de Gallo and maybe 2 spoons of guacamole. Then they give you rice and bean soup. Since the salsa was horrible I couldnt use it on the fajitas like I normally do back home.

Stopped here late in the evening and were treated very well. The place looks great (no booths though) and all the staff were great. @TxMisteeRN and I shared a plate of chicken fajita (a contradiction, I know) and it was great. The servers were nice and attentive without being overbearing. If it wasnt so far from home wed certainly return often.

They do many things well here. They have a full bar. They have good salsa, good enchiladas, and they grill meats very well. I really like their enchiladas. The menu is fairly large and everyone is sure to find something they will enjoy. On Sundays there is no smoking at all, so that makes it a nice plus on the weekend.

Pueblos Viejo has been in Cleveland for awhile now. Their food flavor and quality has remained very consistently great. The staff is attentive and very well trained. My only negative is the cost is a little higher but I still splurge for time to time to get their quality food.

Havent been in a while so thought I would go. My mistake. I stood for over five minutes to get a seat. There were to men standing around. Neither one said anything. Like someone will be with you but nothing. Never had service that way there before. They were not busy either.

Very sweet waiters and the owners are always there to greet you. The food is excellent but Im in love with the margaritas! :-) I have been to all locations but the Lake Conroe location and will go there soon. I highly recommend Pueblo Viejo.

We had the Pepe tacos, the meat tasted funny, the green sauce had a metal taste, the chips where stale, the cheese puff was cold. I had to stop three times before I got home to release what I ate.

It is okay for Cleveland. The flies on the windows is what makes the score lower than normal. At least the drinks are strong to ignored the flies buzzing around my head.
