I had read some of the reviews stating the food was old, but the reviews were old so I thought Id give the place a try anyway. The restaurant had been closed for a month and then reopened on a Wed. I went on Saturday thinking if its been closed that long surely they will have to buy fresh ingredients. This was not the case. I ordered a beef plate and my friend ordered chicken. Both tasted bad and old like maybe the meat had been frozen since before their month long closure. The place itself along with the tables were dirty, even our menus were dirty. I also bought an Ube cake. Ive had Ube cake before, and I really like it. But it was like this cake had been left out while cooking greasy foods and the frosting had absorbed both the smell and bad taste. Overall it was not fresh. I regret going there and really feel like I wasted my money. I didnt remotely like any of the food. I left feeling sick with a terrible taste in my mouth. Its a wonder that they even pass health inspection there.

Food isnt bad. But I dont feel like you get enough for what you pay for. Its almost impossible to reach to even make a pick up order. I miss the family style Filipino restaurant feel that even came with unlimited rice but that restaurant is now closed. I was hoping that the nearest place to get lechon kawali would be plentiful and convenient and it lacks both.

The Brazo has always been everyones favorite in our parties and decided to go for something different..the Ube Macapuno cake was just right not too sweet nor bland and gone in no time! Maraming salamat for your service to the Filipino community!
