New to town, visited this establishment with some friends to try it out. It is a cute little bar with a "dive bar" feel. I enjoyed myself, we were at a table an had a waitress, Maddie, serving us. The service was just okay, she wasnt super attentive, but I also dont know how many tables she had?! I left what I felt was a fair tip of over 20% and when checking my bank account, it appears that the tip went through for more than what I had elected. I was charged an almost 40% tip instead. It wasnt a HUGE dollar difference, but it is the principle of the matter. Unfortunately, as a server you do not get to elect the amount of your own tip. She may have thought I wouldnt notice and most people probably dont. I am currently awaiting a call back from the manager, we will see if they do they right thing. I am not sure if this one incident should cost Maddie her job, but who knows how many other times shes done it.

Not a great first impression. Sat at the bar and asked what beers they had and he pointed to a shelf with about 2 dozen bottles of beer and then walked off. None of them are what I wanted. When he came back I asked what he had on draught and he pointed to the tap handles and walked off again. I couldnt tell which were which and couldnt get close enough so I had to wait until he came back to ask him to list them for me. He read them off quickly and in the most annoyed voice you could imagine. After I picked a beer everything went much smoother though. I ordered my wings which were decent and then nachos after that which were probably the worst nachos Ive ever had. How you mess up nachos that bad is beyond me. Overall a terrible place but maybe the dude was on his man period and so I might come back.

Oh how the mighty have fallen! We went here for Fathers Day and specifically because of the widely known legendary owner of this establishment and we were less than impressed! The environment was much like a beach joint with very VERY casual dining decore. Nothing about the dining set up felt inviting. We were literally the only table there and the wait staff never really bothered to check on us. The food was beautifully cooked but flavorless. Very very unfriendly staff. Not at all the environment we expected and wont be going back. I will give an A+ for the well cooked shrimp but the fries were slightly soggy and both were utterly tasteless. Everyone else liked their food but the feeling from the staff left us feeling cold and uncomfortable there. Prices were very reasonable.

Saw their commercial, everything looked really good on the commercial. We went for lunch during the week. First, you have to walk thru the outside smoking section to go inside, that sucks. We went in and ordered and everything looked really good, we both ordered the chicken fried steak. We left and within 30min. my wifes stomach was churning, and about 20min later, my stomach was churning. All I can say is that they have a really good looking commercial, but would not recommend eating there.

Food is great! But if you get it to go, be sire to check your order before you get home and find it is missing part of the order. This happened to me so I called Mike, but the girl said he was too busy to come to the phone. I just spent $50.00 on a take-out and he was "TOO BUSY". Beaumont has many fine eating places who wont be too busy to correct an order. Its a nice place to drink, just eat some where else first.

Average food and average service. If you are a regular it appears the bartenders and servers favor you over just the casual customer. However, the beer is ice cold and the prices are reasonable. If everyone is going there, no reason not to tag along.

Food is pretty good, most of the time. Usually anything fried, like chicken tenders, is wayyyyy overcooked making it too tough & too crunchy. And its not mandatory to put steak seasoning on everything.
