Drove 80 miles to try something new on Memorial Day 2017! Must have been busy, most tables were full of used dishes that had not been cleared from the rush, walked around restaurant and found a gentleman cleaning a table, so i sat down at it when he was almost finished, while my husband checked out the salad bar. He joined me at the table just as the man finshed wiping the table. The man said your waitress will be right with you. We have already been in the restaurant for at least 7 minutes and no one acknowledged we were even there. We sat chatting for another 5 minutes, still no one acknowledged us. We admired the restaurants decor and thought what a neat place, meanwhile another 5 minutes has gone by. We watched food be delivered to other tables, which looked delicious...but still no acknowledged yet, no menu, hello, no "I will be right with you" nothing...so after 20 plus minutes has past we got up and left, and told a couple walking in, " good luck getting served"

Good Breakfast, marginal lunch and dinner. After spending a summer living in this small town Ive been to the Road Has many, many times. The breakfast buffet on the weekends is pretty good but very salty. Not being a huge morning eater I like just being able to get one plate and not spending more for the “all you can eat”. The service in the Cafe areas can be really hit or miss. Ive walked out after sitting for a little over ten minuets once... The bad service has always been from the older employee waitressing, she is very friendly but extremely slow to give you a coffee refill or your check. Lunch and Dinners are marginal at best for the price they should be a lot better. Service in the bar area has always been pretty good. Overall, if youre willing to make a short drive you can find a lot better.

Very very poor service. Twenty minutes for a coffee last time I was in. Ive walked out of her more than once after not being waited on. The staff is very friendly but extremely slow in providing service. The lunch and dinner is sub par for the price. Breakfast would be the only reason to dine here but they stop serving breakfast at 11AM. The decor is awesome, very bright and open with lots of charm. It can get pretty hot in the summer, I dont think they have air conditioning. They also could use some fly traps as it is pretty gross having them buzz around your food. I really want to like this place but they need to do a lot of changes.

Enjoyed the food but not the community plate of French fries. Two people ordered fries and she brought them on one plate. My fries should have been on my plate or two separate plates, not put in center of table for all to put their hands in. They were brought last but were cold.

Danny & Amy never fail to deliver such great Minnesota food today. TODAY SPECIAL...Savory Beef Casserole with a cup of Creamy Potato. The word of the day is YUMMMIE bang bang!!! Love it here and Prime Rib Saturday nights...the bomb!!!

Great experience! Everyone must try. Witty and knowledgeable guides, make you feel confident and safe in your tour. Cant make here, try Brainard also a great time. John and Gabriel are must see guides.

Fun place to hang out. Foods delicious, and the servers are very friendly. Gets pretty busy in the summer, lots of bikers stop here, but they do a pretty good job keeping up.

I would recommend this place for small groups. We had a group of around 12 people. My order was cold by the time it was served. It still tasted alright, but wasnt hot.
