Ive been going to the Shine regularly ever since all the frat kids at UTA "discovered" Caves. If thats your thing, cool, its not for me though and definitely not something I want to deal with on a night out. Thats why Sunshine is perfect for me and my friends. Its a small, comfortable bar focused on giving its patrons a fun place to relax, have a cold drink and listen to THE best jukebox in Arlington. Theres a certain cast of regulars who youll see most nights after work and a very loyal fanbase for the $1 pint nights. Its no private members club though. As long as youre not coming in looking for some trendy downtown club atmosphere youll be greeted warmly and served promptly. I started coming here when I lived in Arlington and now that I live within walking distance of several bars in downtown Fort Worth Id still rather make the trip to the Shine.

Sunshine is a true dive that has amazing drink specials every day of the week. All the rowdy people have been chased out and the crowd of regulars are very friendly. The jukebox is one of the best around. The service is always awesome and the bartenders are the best in town. The people range from all ages and races. Its a great atmosphere where everyone meshes well. Id highly recommend this place to anyone. One of my favorite places to drink.

Eh. Dont play pool here! Tables are garbage. The table ate the cue ball on a scratch, so we had to use whatever balls where left to shoot with. It was funny, but we only played one round obviously. Music sucks. Just eh. thats all I can say. Just eh. They have alcohol...only good thing lol

Best dive bar in the mid cities! Great drink prices, awesome bar tenders and a diverse and inclusive crowd. Sexual-orientation neutral, no judgements! They have recently begun having live music as well, so it is a cozy place to catch a live band, a cheap beer and meet new people.

I go there with my friends on Wednesdays when they have $1 well liquor offers. It is a small establishment. They have pool table and foosball table. Smoking is allowed inside, so if you do not prefer to be around smokers this is probably not the right place to be.

Prices are great; drinks well poured; patrons and staff welcoming; excellent mix of music on the jukebox and theres darts, 2 pool tables and even a microscopic dance floor. Yes, its a dive but sometimes thats just what youre looking for!

Oh man ! this place is absolutely the best. while this bar is super Dive-y , the staff is A1. It has everything you want from a bar , Cheap and strong drinks , free bar snacks , darts and pool. what else do you want!

Great place where you can have good cheap drink and can actually hear yourself think. Daily specials. Great staff. Fun crowd. It has that true dive bar feel. I would probably cry if they ever closed down.

What a great bar to visit. Back in the late 70s the Rangers would fill the place up after home games. One of my all time favorite bars. The people, drinks and music were all good.

Very relaxed, down to earth kinda place. Perfectly fits the definition of a "hole in the wall." Not upscale and fancy, but a great bar to get cheap drinks and kick back.
