I was EXTREMELY disappointed with my experience at Brio today. My family came in from out of town and we arrived at the restaurant at 6:30pm and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. After waiting 50 minutes in the heat (around 102 degrees), I went up to the front to find out what had happened. I was told that without a reservation, they were having to keep moving people ahead of us, which I informed them that it would have been nice to know that up front. I then walked around the restaurant to see SIX, SEPARATE, OPEN AND CLEAN TABLES all over the space. I went back up to the front to ask them why we could not sit at one of those, and I was informed that all of those were being held for other reservations. There were at least 20 other people waiting in the lobby who were all waiting to get tables as well. I then asked the girl at the front how much longer it would be for us and she said "Probably another 20 minutes or so" after we had already waited an hour. We left. It had wasted our entire evening and ruined my night out with my family. I truly hope theyre hostesses learn how to communicate with people better in the future.

I recently threw my wife a party for her 40th birthday and I chose to have it at Brio in their banquet room in the back. I cant say enough good things about the entire experience. From the first time I talked to Michelle, their events coordinator I knew I didnt have anything to worry about. She was extremely helpful with selecting the right food plan, layout for tables, and timing of the night. It was also nice that I didnt have to follow up and remind her of things...she would be the one to remind me about everything as we got closer to the event. I invited 40 of my wifes friends and even hired an improv comedy group to do a private show for our party in the banquet room. The wait staff at Brio couldnt have been more professional. They nailed every detail and the timing of each course was perfect. The food was AMAZING...by far the best meal possible. All of my guests couldnt stop talking about the entire night...the room, the food, the environment, it was a perfect party. Thanks Brio for helping me make this a special night for my wife!!!

My husband and I had dinner reservations for 7 PM on a Saturday night, and we arrived at 6:45 PM. Our table was not ready yet, so they gave us a buzzer and said it would be ready before our reservation time. Which is understandable, even though the hostesses seemed a little ticked off because they were so busy. They must have had quite a few missed/late reservations because a group of 5 elderly people came in right after their reservation time and they got a snippy remark from the hostess after she handed them a buzzer, "your reservation was at 6:45 and it is now 6:47." The look on their faces was astonishment. Mine too, as I couldnt understand why she didnt treat them with a little more respect. We were seated shortly and the other group was seated a few minutes after us. Food was pretty good, but my medium beef medallions were cooked to well done... seemed like an overpriced Macaroni Grill.

I was excited when I saw there were empty tables (so I could be served quickly). Unfortunately, there was a large line (easily 15 people) crowded in the entrance. There were many available tables and no one seemed to be being seated. I tried to chart a course to the hostess stand, but couldnt make it through politely, so I slipped through an opening to the side and took a seat at the bar. The bartender said I was fine to stay there and order, so I got a vegetarian version of their quinoa salad, some coffee, and their snackable bread appetizer italian places always dish out. They have apparently been around for ten years and still have the gigantic forks someone mistakenly ordered. They were a bit inconveniently large and were difficult to use. So, in summary, they certainly have some areas for improvement, but the food was good and thats really the priority in my opinion.

I recently started working in the area so I go here a decent amount... So far I saw a manager throw away a staff members shirt for leaving it up there and laughed about it.... The girl at the bar who waited on me "Megan" I think.. Was weird and complained about waiting on me to a staff member while I could hear her and somebody named Scott kept talking to me and made me really uncomfortable. .. This place is a joke for the price.. The staff is a bunch or drug addicts.. I know that because they talk openly about it.. And the one or two servers Ive had that were good are gone... I dont trust the kitchen. Look if you eat here just listen to your surroundings.. Youll either keep coming back out of sheer morbid curiosity like me.. Or youre too stupid to notice.

New...After a long time I finally came back. Its gotten worst now since the menu change again. The lobster bisque was salty. They change the crab cake recipe so it taste like it came from the freezer aisle at the grocery store. The 2 star is only for the service. This will be my last time eating here after 10 years. Old...The three stars is for the good service but not the wait. This use to be one of make favorite places to eat grilled pork chops but they change how they make it. If you like pork chops that taste more like a salty ham than this is dish is for you. It would not be so bad but even the mash potatoes was salty. Everything else taste ok.

I had a horrible experience here! The service was horrible. The hostess did not want to seat us, then once seated no waiter came to wait on us even though their were not many people in the restaurant. Even the manager noticed the lack of service and nothing changed for almost a half hour! Once someone finally decided to help us it seemed almost as a burden. Then to make matters worse we over heard some of the waiters talking about me and my family, all things that were said were based from the racial difference of me and my family. I use to frequent this restaurant often but after today I was disappointed in the service and atmosphere.

My wife and I love this restaurant and the whole Southlake Town Center atmosphere! The food is excellent, the atmosphere is excellent (especially outside on the patio), and we have been very fortunate to have always gotten great wait staff to take care of us. As popular as this restaurant is, from time to time it is difficult to get fast service, but then we are never in a hurry when we are there on Friday nights (date night). If you have not been there on a Friday or Saturday night, I highly recommend you give it a try. Its a fun place with lots of interesting people to watch and meet. Great for dates, families, or special events!

Brio was a new adventure for me today. Overall an excellent experience. The food was outstanding. The lobster bisque was to die for, and the flagship pasta brio will make the taste buds dance with delight. I couldnt give 5 stars due to the slower service, and having to ask for bread and parmesan cheese when my experience in most Italian eateries has these provided at the ready. That being said, the help was very kind and courteous. If it werent for the busy holiday volume of patrons, Im sure they wouldve been able to deliver a perfect experience.
