Not only am I a new resident to the Claridge Condos, Im also a happy customer to Qahwas which is conveniently located in the building below my Condo. The very first time I ordered a Vanilla Chi latte in Memphis was at Qahwa. Coming from Los Angeles I have to say I was extremely impressed. The owner is the nicest ever. My very first visit he allowed me to experience every flavor of the fermented tea Qahwa carries while I waited for Mary-Ann to complete my Vanilla Chi Latte who gets it right every time. If youre in Memphis whether its downtown or Midtown..be sure to visit the best coffee house down by the river.

I like this place a lot, mostly for the Memphis Mocha (might have butchered the name, its minty chocolatey goodness). It used to be an old bank, which you can tell from the giant vault door they still have, perfect for a small (2-4 people) meeting. The owner is extremely friendly and the staff is great. Its a local joint with another shop also in Downtown, which I have yet to go to. If you live or work nearby I highly recommend checking the place out.

Excellent service! The croissants are so delectable! Had the Mississippi Mudslide signature drink; it was ok. Lovely atmosphere!! Im traveling to Dallas from Atlanta, today was below freezing so the warm food and drink was spot on! Will come back when in Memphis! Thanks ladies for a job well done ;-)

UPDATE: Very friendly and nice people. They have since fixed the problem with the packaging of their to-go food. –––––––– OLD: Not a pleasant experience getting breakfast food to go.They used napkins to wrap the sandwich in. It was very difficult to unwrap, as they stuck to the sandwich.

The absolute best Chai! I cannot even get a Chai from anywhere else now. The croissants are also amazing! Ask for it warmed up with some honey and you got yourself a damn fine snack.
