My husband and I highly recommend Portside Java. Its great to have a local roaster in Hendersonville. Scott, the owner, is great! Very friendly and knowledgeable, always offering a cup of coffee when we visit. We recently moved away and have tried other roasters near Nashville, but I prefer Portside Java, and being part of his Coffee club allows us to get more coffee at a great price. I will continue to make the drive up there to get our coffee fix!

Although it wasnt a "coffee shop" like I was looking for, this coffee roaster is one of the best Ive ever been to! The owner was there and he was super nice. We had lovely conversations about coffee, beans, roasting techniques, and so on. He even made me a sample of coffee to try before purchasing. I loved it.
