Truly horrible experience. Left church and wanted to have a nice family lunch. Decided to give CB another chance after a bad experience several months ago. We were seated and ordered immediately. The tables beside and in front of us paid and left and new patrons were seated while we sat. Both tables received their meals well before an attempt was made to get us our food. No drink refills and no attention. Finally got an order of food out to our table. Unfortunately it was not ours. Five minutes later half of our food came out. Began eating while waiting for our sides. My son began complaining about his chicken. At first I didnt pay much attention as he is a picky eater. When I did look I noticed that his chicken had a rubbery look to it. I took a knife and cut it in two. Pink. They had served his chicken raw and pink in the center. I called the manager over, handed him my sons plate and told him of our experience. He walked away and in a few minutes our side arrived. By this time I was too disgusted to care. They brought me the bill with my sons meal deleted (great because he was able to eat none of it) and had compd our drinks. How does this place remain in business? All I can say is that I have eaten my last meal there.

Update !!! Sept 24th 2017 We went back after much debate. Todays meal was great. All the food was steaming hot. Our server Lindsay was the best ever....she was spot on and on point. We didnt have to ask for anything ..needless to say, she got a large tip.... Thx Lindsay!!!!. We always enjoy our food but this instance we waited for over 10mins before our server came to us. Our server was gathering to go orders in the back...big mistake. Cracker Barrel should have the front desk or a dedicated person to handle such....good food, friendly staff. Bad choice on servers doing to go orders... As for today 12 28 16 - not a good day for CB. Server was slow, food was cold, had to wait for water and etc. Guess some days are better then others

Only giving one star because I have to. Worst place ever. Mgmt is awful. Servers clearly have no idea how to be respectful. All they do is stand around in the back instead of working. Food is bad and order is usually wrong. Who trains these people?! At least they got rid of that Dana Roberts from the store. She was so irritating. I dont need you bothering me every time I walk on the door. Leave me alone when I say no to your overpriced crap! Also, one time I saw her actually scream at some poor cashier of hers right in the middle of the store. No one deserves that.

I just want everyone to know that when we eat at the Cracker Barrel on Indian Lake Road, we leave full and satisfied. The food is delicious, the servers are polite and efficient, and if something is not up to par then they will apologize and make it right! My family and I have eaten a lot of meals there and have done carry-out. If you want a good meal with in a old fashion looking place, with good service and pleasant servers, then Cracker Barrel is the place for you. Also, the store is great and has many items you dont find at other places!

Only giving one star because it was the minimum rate I was allowed to give. Horrible place to start things off. Management have no clue how to talk to their employees. They would scream at them in front of the whole place. Im glad that woman Dana no longer runs the store there anymore. That woman was so full of herself, and she was rude to the cashiers. That place wont make it if they all dont learn how to be nicer to their workers.

Another day, another messed up trip. Get past the people that seat you and one or two of the servers and all that is left is the frustration from the lead biscuits to small portions to the wrong orders to the to-go orders that can take 20 extra minutes of waiting once you pay. No apologies, just apathy. Good old country robbery. Is this store managed by Mr. Haney?

The food is always delish, the service is pleasant, and the coffee - ohhhhh, the coffee. I ordered some to go before church, and once I got there I jumped in the baptismal, it was so delightful. This place can expect more of my presence. Especially since that church and the delicate lady I landed on wont have me anymore. 5 stars.

I am temporarily handicapped and have to use a walker for a few weeks. Everything was ADA friendly, including the staff who were polite and helpful getting me in the door and seated. Service was excellent and the food very tasty and plenty of it (I ordered from the breakfast menu).

Very annoyed... they have a sign saying for pick ups and orders to go. So I get in it bc I have an order to go... then when I get to check out they say that is not the line and I have to go get behind everyone. Then take down the sign if the line is not for that! Ridiculous!!!

Always a great restaurant with wonderful service. My 8 year old wanted to eat here for lunch on her birthday. The server was outstanding and my food was on point! They ran out of what i wanted so she guided me to piece it together from another meal! Thank you guys!

Are they on hard times? Quality has gone down badly. I have been coming here for 2 years but wont go back. Its gone from mediocre to plain old bad. Given it chances to improve but it hasnt. Breakfast today: burnt bacon, over cooked eggs and watery grits.

Normally Im a big fan of cracker barrel, but this visit to the location in Hendersonville was by far the worst. Service was beyond slow, 45 minutes and still no food, no attempts to make it right. No manger in sight. Will NOT be coming back anytime soon

Specifically ordered bacon to be soft and undercooked. Yet I got brittle, burnt pieces that my dogs wouldnt even eat. This is the third time this has happened and the last time Ill go to this Cracker Barrel. You had one job bacon grill master...

This Cracker Barrel has a great variety of Southern good cooking and is complete with Southern hospitality! We enjoyed our chicken and dumplings, chicken and rice, fried okra, and turnip greens. We will certainly return for breakfast XD

Staff was great but the food was not very good. Food luke warm to cold,green beans tasted canned. I think they use microwave more than oven or cook top. Probably will not be back. Hendersonville location. CB not what it used to be.

Great customer service. Ordered french toast to go one time and it was cold and unseasoned. Talked to the manager and was very apologetic and fixed the situation. It was a football Sunday and church rush so I understand.

My favorite Cracker Barrel in this area. Food and service are always excellent. I like this location better than the one in Gallatin. Plus, its convenient to many other shopping attractions.

Like most Cracker Barrel restaurants, this place is very friendly. The crowds can be pretty crazy but they are very efficient at getting tables cleared. Food as always is dependably delicious
