Tucked away in the sleepy little town of Leipers Fork is a hidden gem of a restaurant. A friend took me here initially and I have since introduced my family from Illinois to it. The day we went, to our surprise, a few of the local celebrities decided to show up. Needless to say, my family thought it was a hoot and considered me to be a very hip guy. The breakfast is awesome! The first time I went I had a cornbread omelet. Never having heard of it I was intrigued. The waitress explained that there were no eggs in the mix which peaked my interest further. Terrific! Its was a cross of an omelet and a pancake. A little butter and syrup and I was good to go. The second trip with my family, I decided to try the standard fare of biscuits and gravy and eggs. Once again, very well made. If you are looking for an interesting day trip or want to impress out of towners, this inexpensive and charming place is for you.

This is a lovely restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. What I found the nicest was when our waitress was busy, another brought over refills of tea for my sons and I. What Id been looking for since moving to town I found here, true southern hospitality. Within Franklin its a bit more difficult to find because its becoming quite a transient town. But Leipers Forks Country Boy was reasonably priced, tasted excellent (had the cheeseburger with mushrooms, cheese, and bacon – no diet day!) and made me feel safe and welcome. We will be visiting again!

I just moved back home to TN after a few years of being away. My friend suggested The Country Boy as a good place to go for some down-home comfort food to get back into the atmosphere. They had all my favorites done right. Fried bologna sandwich, country breakfast, home fries....... you name it. The service was excellent. Food was done very well. & the price was extremely reasonable. Highly suggest this as a spot to check out.

Country Boy Restaurant in Leipers Fork, TN has had a beautiful facelift, new ownership. The environment is fresh and fun. The colors of the restaurant are now Chocolate Brown and Red with fresh flowers on each table and friendly wait staff. The food is also delicious. During my last visit I ordered the soup of the day, Tomato Basil Soup, and it was the best Ive ever had! I highly recommend Country Boy!

Wish there was such a thing as 10 stars! We were in Franklin for the Eclipse, and, happened upon this gem by accident! Wow, are we glad we did! We loved it so much we came back the next day, and, even though it was a 45 min wait, we happily waited in the heat!! Told my Hubby that if they had a Country Boy back home, Id definitely gain a hundred pounds! If you go, save room for the banana cream pie!

This place was great. I sat at the counter had cheeseburger with a side salad. Was happy to see the side salad wasnt just a bowl of iceberg but was a spring mix with fresh cut veggies. Cheese burger was really good. Awesome toasted bun. Staff is friendly. Ill definitely come back to try the breakfast.

Best place in Tennessee for simple food done perfectly. The people who work there are top notch and the owners are great, friendly people. Ask for the "smurf n turf", its their specialty country fried steak along side of a glorious blueberry pancake (also known as "steak and a cake").

Im from the north east and had my first trip to the CB and couldnt have been happier. The breakfast options all sounded so good that I wanted everything. I loved it so much I even bought a tee shirt! I will go back every time Im in Leipers Fork.

Excellent country food and excellent service. Breakfast is served all day, but only open for dinner Thurs-Sat. No real parking, and Pucketts is right across the street, so be prepared to walk a bit.

Dont be misled by its humble appearances! Everything is homemade and delicious. Reminds me of the food my Nanny made me when I was a little girl. Excellent restaurant for home country cooking!
