Im going to rave about this place. First off, theres a big car park, so parking is a breeze! Next, the interior boasts a fun style which ties vintage charm to the welcoming of innovation in food. You can dine in or order at the counter. There is a well planned table arrangement with lots of booths and tables even if you come with a big group theyd be able to accommodate. The menu has lots of options and takes into consideration many dietary restriction. They offer gluten free & vegan. When asked about a certain ingredient often used in almond milk, my server was happy to check. (Almond milk here is free of carrageenan!) The food was delicious. If I have to make one criticism it would be that I was surprised to find processed salt on the table!

Ordered Archies Special. The menu claims balsamic tomatoes and carmelized onions but both tasted and appeared steamed and canned with no flavour other than the vegetables they are. No spice was evident in this specialty dish which seemed odd for a spice cafe. Unfortunately, I found the Toast and coffee more appetizing. On a side note...my date was returning from the lavatory and she was accidentally hit in the chest by an employee at the counter whom offered no apology or recognition of the altercation. The waitress seemed like she was just doing her job and resisted any friendly connection.

A health-oriented breakfast & lunch restaurant with table service, but Im reviewing as a coffee shop. They do have a substantial list of good quality bagged teas (Harney & Sons), tea and coffee drinks, and very nice smoothies. Good range of pastries. Very much a modern (non-retro) diner atmosphere rather than a coffee shop. No wifi (though I grabbed xfinity from nearby) or outlets. Lots of tables and booths. About 1/3rd full in early afternoon on a summer Sunday. A rock channel on very low on the audio.

Our Favorite place to eat,my hubby and I.They have organic ingredients, everything is fresh and oh so yummy. We go here for breakfast,I get their omlette with veggies, instead of hash browns and harvext grain toast with preserves I get sliced tomatoes in a bed of spinach and fresh fruit.Their pancakes with cinnamon butter is the bomb,At lunch time a bison burger is the way to go.They are only open for breakfast a d lunch. The staff is friendly and quick. Our favorite is Tatiana

I witnessed the most distrubing reason to fire an employee, my girlfriend. She has worked there for 1-2 months now and was just fired recently, as they claim it WAS NOT because she couldnt come in two saturdays in a row since she was in a hospital; had a note and everything.. yet Im still to believe thats the reason they fired her, stating it was only because they did not need her but yet they waited until the thrid saturday to tell her that? Poor management, decent food.

Food is quite good but the pretentious crowd that this place draws is definitely annoying. I saw an older woman walk in and literally hold her hands out to "feel" the energy of the room in order to decide where to sit. I didnt decide that this was what she was doing, I heard her say it to the other vegan woman she was with (they also spoke loudly about this). Ive been here enough times to say this is the typical kind of person you will see here.

We stopped here on our drive from Chicago to Detroit and were pleasantly surprised by this gem! Im constantly on the look-out for healthy options while on-the-go and Third Coast definitely fit the bill. They have fresh and nutritious breakfast options and you can tell that the food is made from scratch. Definitely would recommend!

The best breakfast food ever!!! I am working on an event and am having Third Coast cater my breakfasts. The homemade granola and freshly squeezed orange juice is stoled the show. Their customer service is absolutely the best. I would suggest using them or stop by their café. Lynn and Diane, Encoré Event Planning/

Small local place with lots of alternative options for your dessert fix, if you wish. (Gluten free, dairy free, stuff like that). The sandwiches were really good. I got one of their blended drinks and it left me wanting more. A great place to go after a day at the Dunes.

This is such a lovely, cozy breakfast joint. Its a bit of a drive for me but always worth it. All breakfast items are delicious --had a great Chai tea too! I enjoy choosing from their bakery items too on my way out of the restaurant. Love this place!

Was there 5/27 10:30 am ,asked if I could sit outside . Was handed menu and silverware. Was out at a table 12 minutes. Place was not busy ,when I went inside to give them there menu back ,4 employees just standing around. Never going back.

They use local farm fresh eggs and other local, high quality ingredients when possible. The food is tremendous and very fresh tasting. The harvest bread rocks. Love build-your-own omelet and the Third Coast Spice Omelet is pretty awesome too.

Very healthy menu with good portion control (you walk away feeling full but not bloated). The food is also very healthy which I for one really appreciate and is hard to find sometimes. I especially love their Mediterranean Chicken Salad!

Great food, amazing fresh bread, good service. Everything here has an artisanal spin on it. The blueberry pancakes are awesome, as is the corn beef hash. I try and grab breakfast here at least once a month.

This quaint hole in there wall has some of the best breakfast and coffee you can ever want. If you are not in there mood for pancakes and eggs, they offer a build your own bison burger that is amazing.

The atmosphere is amazing! We loved the kids corner for our 3 year old. He was entertained and well fed. The coffee was so tasty and gave us they extra boost we needed for our 4 hour drive.

Not for vegans! A couple of options on the lunch menu, but when you tell the waitress that you are vegan, and she replies that she likes meat and cant think of anything, not a good sign.

The service is good, the food is good. Its fresh, local (often organic) fare. I have heard others complain about the price, but I think the price is worth it for better quality food.

Third Coast is an amazing place to eat, especially when trying to escape heavy diner food that is all over Chesterton. The food is healthy and tasty, and the service is wonderful.

The build your own omelette is amazing. The options are gourmet. Le mesa mushrooms with poblano sauce were super tasty. Wish this place was located where I live!

My favorite breakfast spot in town good for lunch too. A little bit pricier but the quality is excellent. They have the best omelets.

Best omelets in NW Indiana! They let you personalize with numerous types of cheeses, meats, vegis and gourmet add ons. Love this place.
