Favorite coffee spot! The family that owns it are wonderful people and they have created a warm atmosphere where anyone can walk in and feel welcome. They have great drinks, made to order, that match that of any big business competitors. Fresh made salads, sandwiches, and pastries of many varieties sate your appetite no matter if youre carnivorous or vegan. Theres always great music playing in the background, and theyve even hosted small music gigs. You can find art from local artists for sale on their walls, and a nook full of toys and books for the kids. Family friendly, yet great for meeting someone in a business manner. I will always recommend Red Cup when asked for a great lunch or coffee spot in town.

Epic sandwiches and paninis. We got one of everything on the menu. Albeit a limited menu there was still a bit of variety. The beers however were awesome. A few local brews from nearby breweries. Definitely outside the box beer thinking but to be honest we managed to not come across a bad beer. Small place, local feel to it once you are inside. A few couches. A few benches. And the bar. Nothing else there. Nothing else needed for a good time. Very relaxed atmosphere, especially for the area.

This cafe was cute, and the lady behind the counter was really nice. Like, Im giving an extra star just for that. Taking away a star for the crazy loud music at 7:30am. It was super mellow in there and my friend and I were talking, enjoying our coffee (nothing to write home about, but it hit the spot) and then bam, nonstop alternative, loud. Like raise your voices sitting three feet from each other loud. No comment on the wifi, didnt try.

Stopped in with my four children, for a quick drink...what I received was an amazing experience with my children. We ended up getting drinks for everyone, and some of the amazing zucchini, goat cheese, quiche! It was delicious! I also noticed how nice the workers are and my children have continued to ask me when we can go back! Overall a wonderful cafe, with amazing people, tied together with an awesome atmosphere!

The owners are very friendly lovely people. Excellent community gathering spot. Hippie vibe and excellent tunes. The sandwiches are very good. I recommend the portobello and goat cheese. The tea varieties offered are very good. Their coffee game leaves something to be desired though. Lots of potential to grow there if they take note. As a total package the place is great and one of my favorite local places to visit.

Very good coffee. Real food. Absolutely worth the 5-minute detour from I-94. Freshly prepared goat cheese frittata on a bed of spinach, perfectly ripe pears, apples, grapes, buttered 8-grain toast, serious coffee with real cream in a ceramic red cup. Parking on the street. Clean restrooms. My new favorite place to stop after beating the Chicago morning rush hour.

Excellent food, weak tasteless espresso drinks. The quiche we had was served with fresh fruit on a bed of spinach with a side of multigrain toast. The food had excellent flavor and was nicely presented. The cappuccino and moca latte were another story. The drinks were served volcanically hot and had no detectable coffee flavor.

this place is nice. they have really good sandwiches, not the usual diner-stuff. prices are higher than average for the region, but i think they are appropriate for the quality. i wish there were more places like this in the countryside! free wifi, too. and the space itself is spacious and great to sit in.

The best place to come and get not just a cup of coffee or a snack, but a place where when you walk in you feel at peace, you feel that home. They treat you like family when you are here. And the food is phenomenal. I just cant say how much I love the coffee. And they even have loose leaf tea to die for.

Everything you want from a cozy coffee cafe, no matter what town youre in. The fact that it is in the great little downtown of Chesterton, Indiana is a plus for both cafe and town. Excellent coffee, food (sweets and eats!), atmosphere and staff.

Chill place I like it a lot because of the dance with the door and the worn high knotted wooded floors with the high ceiling. The area is quite quaint. If things get out of hand, and they often do, I just put my head phones on.

The service was sub-par. We went to the counter and were ignored while several staff walked by. We were getting ready to leave when we were finally waited on. The coffee was ok, but not worth the wait.
