Absolutely worst restaurant experience I can remember in many years. The manager of this particular IHOP should lose their job as far as Im concerned. Parking lot had obviously not been cleared of snow over two day period following snow accumulation and with the rain and warmer weather today (21 Feb 15) the parking lot was nothing short of a slush puddle...EVERYWHERE! No effort was made to clear anything and our feet were completely soaked before we even sat down. To add insult to injury, the staff were just then (10 am,....they open at 6am) trying to clear a hallway that had flooded with squeegees and a LOUD, intrusive shop vac. All the while, they kept the hallway door propped wide open so the cold air could personally introduce itself to all of the diners accompanied by the vacuum noise and cold icy feet from the parking lot. This store should NEVER have been allowed to open in its condition and the fact that it is the managers responsibility to ensure all employees and customers are first and foremost safe (not to mention comfortable) leads me to believe that this person is either inept or did not have the necessary experience to make the very obvious judgment call to stay closed until the unsafe conditions were remedied. I will NEVER go back to this establishment due to this experience and will be absolutely amazed if someone did not end up getting injured due to a slip and fall in the parking lot. Absolutely inexcusable!

Arrived on a Saturday night at 10:02pm with two other parties in the restaurant. They had already been served their food and were just finishing their meals. Received our drinks right away and then it all went down hill. 33 minutes later we were finally able to find someone willing to take our food order. Wat the manager on shift sit in the back of the restaraunt with her friend and watch the whole time. Another waitress joined them while our glasses sat empty at the edge of our table for over 15 minutes. Let me not forget that the condition of the restaraunt was absolutely deplorable with numerous tables covered in dirty dishes and empty glasses. Food all over the floor and the table I was seated at was not cleaned so I did it myself. Waiting staff should really wash their hands after returning from outside to smoke their lungs away and enter the restaraunt smelling like a ten year old ash tray. I will not be revisiting this place again.

The employees make a meal seem like it should include carnival tickets. Their antics are highly inappropriate for a restaurant. Our waiter, Garrison, was hardly attentive and even went as far to yell loudly enough in the kitchen at the other employees to where the whole dining area could hear him. Other waitresses were tending to our drinks because our waiter was too busy yelling at people. One waitress, however, was extremely apologetic about the whole situation. When we were leaving I noticed that other customers were being given iced coffees when I had been told that there was no more iced coffee. The manager was handling our bill when we went to pay but all he could say was that he couldnt handle his employees. Sounds like a bunch of excuses for not having a pair to handle a situation. Just another typical day at the local IHOP was his response.

On more than one occasion the service has been extraordinarily slow... but today? We arrived at the restaurant at 3:25 with only 2 other customers seated... there were 14 of us... we were told it would take a few minutes to move tables and for them to seat us which would be expected right ? Well, After about 10 minutes we were seated In a section along the wall... no tables were ever moved or in need of being cleaned or set up? So we wondered why the wait? After one hour has passed our food started coming out... then several orders were wrong... only two other customers came in while we were there... not like they were slammed and super busy? No explanation of why it took so long... there were at least 6 employees working? The food was good... but not worth that kind of wait... sad thing is the ihop out by the mall is always top notch?

Arrived Saturday morning around 7:00am only me and another couple there. We ordered our food and while waiting for our food the other people that was there all they did was complain about there food. First the lady was complaining about her bacon then the guy started complaining about his country fried steak they made him a new one while the manager sat there and waited to see if it was up to his standards after the manager walked away this guy started complaining about his water had a funny smell to it which was probably from his breath from drinking it. I will say the manager and the server did a very good job keeping there patients while dealing with this couple here to find out they come in at least once a week and do this just to get free food. My food and service was wonderful it was these people who made my time there unpleasant.

Absolutely the worst IHOP in Clarksville. We arrived at 9pm a total of 4 people dining. 3 servers on the floor and 1 manager. Our order was fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and corn, and I had eggs bacon and pancakes. The food took 55min before it was served. The chicken was hot it had been fried over and over the past 3 days not a morsel of meat or an ounce of moisture could be found on any of the 3 pieces of chicken. Even the bones on the pieces were brittle. The mashed potatoes COLD the corn had been cooked or microwaved over and over like jerky corn.. My breakfast was returned the first time for being cold, when they remade it it came back got bacon had been cooked from the morning before Im sure of it. NEVER WILL WE RETURN TO THIS LOCATION!!

I like it more usually, but 4 stars would do. The food was okay, it was hot and we got exactly what we ordered. For basic breakfast, I would go to the waffle house next time, though. The specialty pancakes were alright, bit smaller than normal, probably because they were busy. Ran out of coffee and water pretty frequently, waitress didnt check on our table ; biggest issue was the service. My kid sister openly said she wished wed gotten a different one, I figured maybe ours was just having a bad day. Snippy, didnt check back, a bit standoffish. Would do better in a less service oriented field, or something less customer facing.

We came in with 4 people dining and it took forever for us to get our food and our server wasnt really concerned about our table, but when the food arrived not only was one of the ordersthat we got which was chicken and waffled and the chicken was over cooked and the waffles were hard. And the Burger and club sand which we also ordered was okay not at its best then when we were wanting drinks we had to ask for them, and when we were waiting for a box we found our server kris outside smoking while we waited for 15 minutes

Great dinner tonight! First time here since they opened. Clean interior, quick and accurate service, knowledgeable staff (Kiana was our server), and hot, tasty food choices. From the time Kiana walked to the back to the time she delivered a 100% correct order: 8 minutes! That was awesome. She kept checking on us and even gave my wife a new drink in a to go cup on our way out. New place for us to keep coming back to. Thanks IHOP on Haynes Avenue for feeding this hot, tired family on their way back from the horse farm
