We were there Sunday morning for the breakfast buffet and it was early. My guess around 9:00 a.m. The food was awful. It was cold and the bacon was very greasy, biscuits were cold and hard, hash browns were a lump of potato mush. Im not a complainer but it really was bad. Breakfast is a very easy meal to make and if the burners on the buffet are attended to the food could stay hot. I will say the coffee was good. Since there is not much in that area a restaurant such as this is needed. Maybe theyre just used to food like this but I like my breakfast fresh and hot.

If youre looking for some good southern cooking, youll find it here at Homestead. Youll leave feeling like youve just stepped out of your grandmothers kitchen. Full and satisfied. Give it a try and I guarantee youll be back. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, the staff will make you feel like family before you leave. It just doesnt get any better than that!

NIce little buffet. $6.99 for dinner. Friendly staff and home cooked food, very tasty. I especially liked teh friend chicken. You can order off the menu if you wish. While the address is correct a GPS will take you south of town. If you enter 1331 N Center (Hwy100) it will take you north of the town center on HWY 100 and thats where this little gem is located.

This buffet food is not poured into the heated pans from a can! My impression was that there was somebodys grandmother who knows how to cook down-home Southern style in the kitchen. Everything on the bar is homemade tasting. Seasoned perfectly. After my first bite, I said "wow".

Homestead Restaurant has a wonderful Sunday buffet (week day buffets are great too)! Really great selections of meats, vegetables, salads, desserts and breads. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices offer a great place to eat!!
