I arrived at 735 which is well before closing time. We were greeted promptly by the cashier but that was the only friendly interaction with the staff. Food arrived in a respectable 10-15 minutes later but was quickly told by a larger man, with a beard that they close at 8. I understand the doors get locked at 8 but that doesnt constitute telling a customer to essentially rush eating and leave. Now if this was the only interaction with this employee, I wouldnt be writing this review. He came by another 3 times telling us theyre closing and hinting to grab a Togo box. It was clear he wanted us to leave. The entire experience at this restaurant was ruined as we were rushed to eat piping hot food from their skillets being pressured to leave. Now if we stayed past 830 that would make sense for them to tell us to leave but that wasnt the case. We left exactly at 815. We were only there for 30 minutes after ordering/eating and were rudely implied to leave 3 times. Even before our food arrived he came by the tell us theyre closing. The experience was ruined by poor treatment. The food is pretty good but the interactions shouldnt be allowed. Really disappointed in a normally friendly environment.

Whoever rates this positively has no experience with Asian food. I am an open minded traveler with a lot of experience with Asian food and this was sub par for even super discount Asian food. I got the tofu teriyaki. The sauce was bland and it tasted bitter as if they burned the sauce or seeds. 8.50 is a fair price for this size dish in NYC but travelling through Nashville...the portion and pricing for this quick serve style is wrong. Miso soup tasted like instant miso, salad tasted similarly "meh". I usually power through a bad meal especially when on the road but my distaste led to a light stomach ache. I hope this was just a bad 2pm chef or something. But from other reviews of Asian food in Nashville it seems like the locals just dont know Asian food at all. Dont go to ANY Asian food places in Nashville, period. 2/5 because the hostess was kind, the service was quick and the decor was suitably minimalist clean and cute.

We got there at 730 and was welcomed by a cashier, we quickly placed our orders and our foods were served after 10-15 minutes, food were fine but itd be better if a big guy with beards gave us the foods didnt have a really bad attitude saying directly that theyre closed at 8 right at our faces. Not only that its also after 10 minutes eating our hot skillets, he came to us saying that hed close in 5 minutes. We came for foods and weve PAID for that plus tip, we didnt beg for free food to be deserved that terrible service. I understand that employees might have a long day but rushing customers directly that way is really rude. I hope they understand restaurants business depend on customers, not only good food but also great service is which brings customers back again and again. Thisll be my last time to be there. If I could rate this as 0 instead of 1 star, Id rate them as 0.

Simply my favorite restaurant in the Nashville area. The Teriyaki and Rice Bowls are great. The Korean Tacos are fantastic. And the Bi Bim Bop and Spicy Pork are incredible. All of the food is freshly made, using high-quality ingredients. Dont expect the standard fare youd get at most Asian restaurants. STB adds unique twists to many of their dishes, and the results are delicious variations of Asian classics. Ive eaten at STB many times, and Ive never been disappointed. The owners and employees are warm and welcoming, and always make you feel at home. I couldnt recommend it more highly.

OMG...that was delicious! Five of us from work went here for the first time today and all got different meals. Everything at our table looked amazing and I have no doubt it would have all been delicious. The bibimbap looked especially good and was a very large portion. I chose spicy rice with hot chicken, because thats how I roll. It was so tasty and perfect that I fear I may not have the resolve to try something new next time. It was also a large portion and I am stuffed. Soy Bistro is now firmly ingrained on my short list of lunch options in Brentwood.

Food was amazing!! Small place hiding in the business district of Brentwood. Perfect for a quick lunch meal or something to eat right after you get off work. The chef was really nice and even came around to the table to see if everything was up to par. I tried the shrimp tacos which were nothing short of amazing. The spicy slaw was a new flavor for me and normally wouldnt think to have that on shrimp tacos. I will definitely be back since my job is in walking distance of this place. Actually, i wouldnt mind going out of my way to come here. Great Food.

Cute little spot hidden in the corner next to the mcdonals and the laundry store. Their menu adds something new every 2 weeks or so and that is the best option to go for. Seems family owned and operated to efficiency. Every dish has great flavor and i believe it is one of the best lunch spots in the area after Mediterranean Cuisine @ ward circle. Get ready to have a full stomach of healthy clean food and cooke homely. Ambiance is nice and chill so remember to get their early as due to the size it gets packed pretty fast.

I rarely leave any reviews, but Soy Bistro is definitely worth one. Brentwood/Franklin area has so few good oriental cuisine places, so finding one was a pleasure. Its small and really is bistro-style setting, but is very clean and friendly as compared to similar establishments. Suggest their specials: pork bulgogi and bibimbap are excellent. Fresh ingredients and generous plates. Truly authentic taste, while it has Teriyaki in in its name, Korean dishes are probably best. You wont regret it - 5 stars.

I was in town for one night for a conference, and I noticed this little place down the street from the hotel. I had looked at the menu before coming and had chosen the bibimbap (something Id never had before), but the host convinced me to get it in a skillet. Despite my doubts about the crisped up rice, Im glad he talked me into it. It was absolutely delicious! I may live two hours away, but I fully plan on stopping here the next chance I get to try some of the other dishes.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Ive been eating here since they opened about five years ago, and every meal has been delicious. The owner Chris is a genuinely wonderful guy and he and his wife always make me feel at home both with the delicious home style Korean-fusion and with their great service that makes me feel more like a friend than a customer. Although everything on their menu is great, I have to say the bibimbap has got to be my favorite, I highly recommend it.

Great place but just called in to place a to go and the phone was set down. I was able to drive there and was still on hold hearing the backgound noise of the restaurant. As I was standing in line I watched one of the two employees that take orders pick up the phone and hang it up without saying a word. She then proceeded to take someone elses to go order while I was still standing in line waiting to order my food.
