WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I had been craving ihop all morning, and was excited to go. From the time we walked in the door, till the time we left it was a terrible experience. Our greeting was delayed and "dry", no smiles or anything and they spoke with irritation. There was one waitress whining in front of customers about how "everyone keeps calling her name" bothering her to do stuff. Then she even went to one of her tables to elaborate to her customers why shes upset people keep asking her to do stuff. Everyone seemed frazzled and overwhelmed, one man working there at the front got upset because he couldnt sit customers in a certain area of the restaurant and told a waitress he would "walk up out of here right now". Really? In front of customers your saying your about to walk out on the job? Then the waitress replys "I dont care, go ahead". The list goes on, but to sum it up the vibe at this restaurant is OFF. Not just one, but ALL of the staff we saw were extremely unprofessional. The food was alright, but to be honest the food dont even matter with customer service like that. You go to a restaurant for good food and good vibes. Not to walk in there to absorb all of the bad energy. I will NEVER go to this ihop (and possibly no other ihops) again.

I dont normally sign in & post anything, positive or negative. I prefer a more personal approach, like in person or with a phone call. But, I must say, after a Very Bad experience back months ago, with a particular manager here, she was the most rudest manager Ive ever experienced. Of course, I got a corporate number from her, & after a few days, decided not to call, figured, "Really, if a restaurant has this type of manager in place, well I wont bother...", but after a couple of months later & reading their more updated reviews, as I laughed at some, knowing whom they where referencing to.. I decided to call, months later, from my "Bad" experience, talked with the G.M. April, who was a sweetheart, & after listening to my complaint, strongly urged me to give em another chance, theyve underwent some changes, her only being in place a couple few months, etc. etc. Me & my grandson went last week, Tuesday or Wednesday, & Amalia, our waitress, Awesome, (Cody, was off this nite), & manager Belinda, (not the one who was rude months ago), thatd be Danielle, which Im told has also made some changes, Ummm, yeah, well see... But Belinda, "You Go Girl", now thats manager material right there!!!

got a to go order ,,,,group of waitresses standing out front,,,cashier took my order , i was standing there but she proceeded to take care of waitress check first,,,i was still standing there,,,then a customer came up and she checked him out before she helped me,,,,The menu specifically stated 7.99 when she rang it up she told me it was 9.85 i said hey it says right on the menu 7.99 why the difference,,,she say she doesnt know and did it 2 more times with different prices...she looks at me like im the one who should pay what she says,,,I figured it out when i got home ,,,what she was actually doing,,,was skimming 1.00 or so for the waitresses,,,off to go order tickets...waffle house does it all the time,,,,And i asked for bacon extra crisoy it came back hardly done,,, imade them cook another bacon order,,,,check your food,,, they will not get it right,,,,

Well once again I went to the IHOP on 29 in Spartanburg sit down with my family to enjoy supper on a Tuesday night. We were seated waitress gave us our menu said she would take our order in a little bit. Sit there 10 min while the waitresses gathered in a group at the kitchen entrance so I got up and told them we were ready to order on my way to wash my hands in the bathroom. I came back out they were still in a huddle at the kitchen entrance talking and texting. So I gave them another 5 min got up walked out and went right next door where I got fabulous service and got to EAT at the Waffle House. Not sure who manages the IHOP but if my employees treated customers like that I would clean house and re staff. I usually do not complain but this was the second time in a year this happened at the same location. Very disappointing!!!!! Please hire a manager!!!!!

WORST SERVICE EVER! I go in with my husband, mother, niece, and son. We sit down first of all the seats were all broken second the waitress takes five mins just to even come great us and give us straws she leaves again then comes back to finally just take our drink orders, well we go ahead and give our food orders. We waited about 10 MINS just for our drinks to come out. Well we wait and the family right next to us had been waiting a while for there food too just food! They waited about 30 mins for it. We waited exactly 50 mins before we just finally got up and left! As I go up front to ask to pay just for our drinks they said she was barely getting out food ready so I left and went to WAFFLE HOUSE next door and They were AMAZING OUR WAITRESS WAS AWESOME SO WAS OUR FOOD.

First off , we walk in. Stand there for a minute with 2 people sitting up front including the manager before we was offered a seat. It looked to be a cook or cooks helper who even offered us a seat. After sitting there for 5 minutes with no service , another family walks in and sits right behind us. They got service as soon as they sat. The waiter had no personality and wasnt a people person. Some man came in an sat down blocking the Isle the restroom with a duffle bag. Then our food came out cold. My eggs and bacon came out before my French toast and my bacon slid off my plate when the waiter sat it on the table. AWFUL SERVICE. NEED NEW MANAGER ASAP.

First I wait at the counter for at least 10 minute every server was in the kitchen area kind of a meeting no one came until a lady come from outside and ask me if someone help me than she took control and give me seat, very friendly lady hope she the manager and fire the one whom suppose to sit people. I order my drink and my food came hot and delicious but the waitres give my check I was still eat my entrees I cannot believe she left me the check before I could order something else. IHOP management tell your waitres to wait until the customer ask for the check maybe you could sell some dessert or coffee .overall service was descend. I will comeback

I dont understand all the negative press, maybe they fired some bad actors. Anyway, best place for good food at a decent price. Been here several times and never disappointed. Portions are good size, coffee is good, and the price is very reasonable. Last night I got a ham and cheese melt on sourdough with hashbrowns. I could barely finish it. All of our waiters or waitresses have been great. My gf and I got out of there for 26.00. Theres a lot of fast food places you might pay that at and not get good food. Also, theres a good variety of food too, not just breakfast or pancakes.
