Pretty Donuts for a Pretty Penny. We have enjoyed meals and donuts at Downtown Deli & Donuts on a handful of occasions, but it came at a premium. For deli food and gourmet donuts, its pricey. For three meals and a few donuts, we always come out around $50 with tip. The deli food is average and nothing special, in my opinion. The donuts, on the other hand, are amazing! Unfortunately, its hit or miss on donut availability if you dont stop by early in the day. Staff is very friend and attentive; they also do a great job of keeping the place clean. Four stars not five because prices could be a bit more modest on the deli food.

Stopped in for a little treat for my nieces. Was asked if I had been in before and explained that we were just out exploring. Took time to put a couple of mini doughnuts in our bag to sample even though the were busy with lunch service. Worked out perfectly because my sister and I got the cookies I picked out while the little ones got the doughnuts. Smiles all around. Would definitely stop back in on a future visit to town.

The staff is friendly, restaurant clean, and has an inviting decor. It is great that Spartanburg has places like this popping up at a quick rate--however, the sandwiches were ok and way too expensive, in my opinion There is a lot left to be desired when there are other restaurants that use local farm ingredients with better prices and portions. I will definitely give it a second chance, as many seem to enjoy it very much.

Love this quaint little spot. Weve been for Saturday brunch the last couple weekends and the food has been outstanding. Not a lot of seating inside so come early and get your spot. The donuts also go fast so youll want to get there early for that as well. Overall, an excellent addition to Downtown Spartanburg! My dish recommendation: Chicken and waffles or the Red Rooster sandwich.

Food was actually delicious it was just expensive. I paid $16 for salad with chicken, a small pastry and a tea. Thats crazy for a quick, local lunch. I dont think I will be back even if the food was good. Hard to find as well. No signs.
