This facility has been taken over by new management/ownership. My husband visited yesterday and was sorely disappointed, as well as angry. Hed been patronizing this restaurant since we moved here 3.5 years ago. In addition to the increased prices for previously purchased items, the food was grossly inferior to what had been served in the past. The soup was watery and devoid of flavor and the corned beef was laden with fat and gristle. When he exclaimed that the corned beef sandwich was the worst hed ever eaten, he wasnt lying. For 45 years, he owned and operated a commercial HVACR business. Many of his food wholesalers, grocers, and restaurant owners were Jewish. The man knows good corned beef! Its just not here any longer.

Horrible service. Waited an hour for our sandwiches and the waitress didnt ask if we needed anything or refill our drinks. Put in a to-go order for my husband and it took her 30 minutes to come back and bring us a menu. We sat at the table with no drinks filled and dirty plates on the table and the manager must have walked past us 10 times without asking if we needed anything or bothered to clear the table. After 45 minutes of waiting for my to-go order I went to the front of the place to get help and the order had been sitting on the counter, now cold. The waitress never bothered to bring it back! Absolutely disappointed with this place! Will not be back.

Based on earlier reviews it appears that they may have had it right early on when they first opened. But as of yesterday they missed the mark in every way as far as basic food service goes. Poor service (we watched a table of people leave after waiting 1 hour for their food). The waitress lacked knowledge of their own menu and created a very awkward experience. Advertising themselves as a NY deli serving fat/ overstuffed sandwiches is completely false. If you happen to be from the NY tri-state area (like my wife and I) I would suggest to keep your expectations low. Yesterday was 1st and last time at this falsely advertised fake NY deli.

Was excited when I walked in! The older woman working the deli (probably the owner) counter was extremely impatient with EVERYONE. She said not to talk to her unless we were ready. When we asked about an item on the menu, she replied with a smart ass comment. I ordered very quick and efficient and she apparently didnt like the type of sandwich I ordered. The onion and provolone wee left off the sandwich. I ordered a sandwich lady, not an attitude!!! Sandwich I got was good, I will not return due to the attitude behind the counter. All other employees seems friendly, dont know how they work with her though.

We have always enjoyed the breakfast at Gershons. Especially the corn beef hash. Well, unfortunately today it was the most aweful experience we ever had. we had to even spit the hash out. A 1st for us. It was rancid. I truly hope yall get this problem straightened out for future guest. I doubt that we will have the guts to try it again.

my wife and i have been to gershon,s three times so far, and we are looking forward to many more visits with friends. i had the overstuffed hot pastrami and found it to be as good as the carnegie in nyc. my wife had the stuffed cabbage and loved it. the meal was topped off with excellent rice pudding. the service was terrific!

Service was very slow. Had to wait quite a while to pay the bill while the person running the register did not pay attention to me. When I got my bank statement, they added an additional dollar to my bill. I was treated rudely when I went back to talk to them about adding a dollar to my bill. Will not go back.

The food was absolutely amazing the service is great clean environment gotta try it unbelievable service and totally consistent in all that they do the food was absolutely amazing the service is great and the restaurant and the bathrooms are spotless you can tell they really put their heart into their work

Great classic deli with Jewish and Greek cuisine. Service can be a little slow at times (amazing for how busy they are). The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only problem is its they are 8 hour drive from my home (I go there every time I go to Myrtle Beach on vacation).

Wasnt real impressed. We ordered a hot corn beef sandwich and a turkey Rueben. They differently werent "FAT SANDWICHES" like they say their specialty is. No flavor to the corn beef and the two sandwiches cost $20.00. Dont think we will go there again!
