Were big into wings and were hoping this might be a go-to place for us in the future. Sadly, we wont be making that trip again. The short story: The wings themselves were okay - not the best, but far from the worst. The sauces we tried were okay, but had NO HEAT, even though we ordered them "hot" (supposedly 12,000 scoville units on their menu). Service was terrible though and the extra charges were ridiculous. The longer version: We went on a Sunday hoping to grab some beers and wings to wind down our weekend. Yes, I know SC has some weird laws about Sunday alcohol sales, but more cities (and I was under the impression that Greer was among them) passed local ordinances allowing restaurants to serve on Sundays. We were seated and our waiter came to take our drink order. I asked if there were any drink specials. He seemed really confused and then told me, "Its Sunday" like I was an idiot. I understand hes a young person and may not have entirely gotten the whole interacting with customers thing down, but a brief, "Im sorry, but we cant serve alcohol on Sundays," would have set a much better tone for the meal, because it didnt get any better. I never imagined I would complain about a restaurant being over-staffed, but clearly I should never say never. There were probably 8 servers with at most that many tables. All of the servers were very young and didnt seem to have been trained very well. They mostly stood around joking or singing along to the music playing in the background while ignoring customers with empty glasses. We ordered buffalo chicken taco bites to start with. They were fairly tasty, but if there was chicken in there it had been pureed somewhere along the way. They were mostly just fried mini taco shells covered in hot sauce, which, while surprisingly tasty, wasnt exactly worth the $5.99 for the quantity we got. We followed up with an order of 10 wings. The menu mentioned a 99 cent charge for flavors, which I guess having eaten at restaurants that serve wings before, I mistakenly interpreted as 99 cents for extra flavors in your order. I understand an upcharge for extra flavors (though why not just limit the number of flavors based on how many wings are ordered, like most wing places?), but upon the arrival of our check, it turns out that it was 99 cents for EACH SAUCE. So, I guess the menu price is only accurate if you order plain wings. However, they did have a good variety of wing flavors to choose from. You pick a flavor and then a "heat index," so we went with General Tsos (which our server tried to correct my husbands pronunciation of which was 1) incorrect in its own right and 2) rude) and Maui, a teriyaki with sweet mustard sauce, both with a heat index of "hot." The wings might have been hot to someone who thinks that mayonnaise is spicy. My best guess is that the kitchen staff is as young and poorly trained as the wait staff, and have no clue what a scoville unit is. We also had no celery or bleu cheese, which were only brought out when we inquired with the only person we saw who was clearly over the age of 20. We walked out at $22 with the tip having ordered waters, a small (and mostly meatless as far I could tell) appetizer, and an order of 10 okay-ish but completely not hot wings. Overall, it was just really disappointing. I cut the kid who was serving us a bit of slack because he clearly had simply never been taught anything about customer service. Im all for giving kids a chance (my first job was waiting tables, and it was a great experience), but if management cant train them to do the basics like talking to customers politely, then theres no hope for them or the restaurant. I sincerely hope that it was just a B-crew day, but since their B-crew was that bad, we wont try again hoping for the A-crew.

Absolutely horrible experience. went in for Saturday dinner with wife and two kids. didnt have lids for kids cups which of course we had a spill, the cups are filled to the top. 2. got chips and salsa, and the chips were stale or not cooked completely. Ask waitress numerous times for refills and didnt get thr first one until halfway through the meal. Which brings up the third point my order was completely wrong she said Ill have the manager take it off the bill then came back and said there we cook it I need your plate so I waited another 30 minutes for my meal my family was done completely with theirs and we sat around waiting on my mail to come out. Then came out wrong again. I asked for a box she said they would recook it I told her dont bother its not worth it give me the check ready to go. when my wifes Neil came out her sweet potato fries for ice cold. My little girls fries were ice cold. Had to ask multiple times for napkins. Manager never came to the table although my suspicions she didnt even know about what was going on. Either that or didnt care. Overall a horrible experience on a place we like to go to get wings but now will probably not go back for a long long time. Good luck if you decide to go

I am not someone who reviews anything online, but I am originally from North Carolina where East Coast Wings was my absolute favorite wing place of all time.. I was so excited to see that we had one here in Greer. But honestly, I cant remember another place that Ive eaten at that has such bad service. The food is incredible, I have loved everything that I have ordered here as I did in NC.. but that is the only reason I put 2 stars. If this was a review solely on customer service it would definitely be a zero. Every time that I have come, my server (different ones each time) was incredibly rude and unprofessional. My friends and I stood for about ten minutes waiting on someone to sit us at a table, while all of the staff sat at a table nearby joking around while folding napkins. Some of the servers even looked at us but no one got up to sit us until the one person who had his back to us turned around and saw us. There were many other things that happened but I am not trying to write a novel. I mean, the food is good and I may be back for the wings.. But the service really needs some work.. actually A LOT of work.

When the place first opened I think they had to find their legs and it seems they have and lets face it, it was smack in the middle of football season; I can only imagine how hectic it was. I have been around the block a few times so when you put in a wing order to pick up they may say it will be 20 minutes but it is usually longer but that is OK because they pump out a lot of wings and that is just how it goes. When I put in my order I usually come 10 minutes after the time they gave me and they wait is much shorter. Being a huge football fan they have really came through with some great wings on Sunday. They have a great variety of flavors to boot. I consider myself a wing connoisseur and I have had Buffalo wings all over this land and their Buffalo wings are top 3 on my all time list. Keep doing what you are doing and provide great quality and service and you will be successful. Glad to have you in the neighborhood, now I dont have to drive across town to get wings. Also their deal for Restaurant Week was awesome! Please have it again in the future!
