We stopped here on our way to get a minI vacation. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits.. nothing spectacular or even good , but certainly well executed Considering the simple flavor profile. My father in law got the curry skillet which looked yellow, duh curry. And he said it tasted ok. The staff was nice, when they werent having obnoxiously Loud conversation across the room. It appeared to be clean and at least smelled decent. But I didnt like a thing on my plate. The chicken wings were said to be Asian style.. which as a stupid american, I thought wold be slathered in soy sauce. No, they were just grossly fried. The French Toast was literally battered french toast. And the egg, which was simply over hard as requested, was off putting in taste. I really cant fathom how you can mess up a fried egg.. I wont be back. Luckily the prices are low so i didnt blow that much money. I told the waitress my food was fine, because honestly, I dont think anything else would have been any better. They cant cook

Ive come here several times and will continue to frequent this cafe. I can only speak for its breakfast items, specifically the omelets. Theyre good and they use fresh vegetables - as far as I can tell. Ive had a few mess-ups with my orders and Ive noticed the same has happened to other customers, but theyre nice about it and will fix whatever was wrong. The food is a bit expensive for the quality of the food - its a toss up as far as I can tell, in my opinion, but they compensate with quantity. Again, Ive only had breakfast omelets and nothing else, so take that with a "grain" of salt. The waitstaff is great and they work hard to keep up with the customers. All and all its probably the better cafe in Florence. Try the country omelet. Its good and you can smother it in gravy. Just what the doctor didnt order.

Today was my first time having breakfast here with a friend. I walked in the place it smelled of mildew and Cockroaches. I asked for 2 Eggs over Medium. Breakfast Ham, Roasted Red Potatoes, and Wheat Toast. I never got the wheat toast. The eggs were extremely runny. Roasted Potatoes were Mushie. I sent the Eggs back because I was ganging. The Cook sent out fresh ones that were the same. So I tell them just scramble them. He sent back hard fried eggs. By this time I was disgusted. The waitress asked forgiveness. I told her it is not her fault. We always tip well. But the cook either needs to fix his bedside manner or hand his spatula to someone else. (if he is not in a good mood). I will try it 1 more time. Otherwise I will pass the word on what an awful experience I had.

I have really been enjoying this restaurant. Ive eaten breakfast there for the last three Sundays, trying different things on the menu. Today was the best yet. Before this restaurant I dont think I wouldve ever considered having egg foo yung for breakfast but I did today. What a treat! Crispy, and savory, and full of wonderful shrimp. I like to spend my money in local restaurants, when possible, and this place is a great choice.

This place has the best Asian food (and American), hands down. The veggies are super fresh and the portions are great. You cant beat the prices. The staff is extremely friendly. The times we have gone, the food always came out quickly. I also have done some maintenance in the restaurant and I know the kitchen is clean (a huge plus for me!).

I frequent this restaurant, great food and great prices. Service is somewhat slow but as others have said it isnt because of the staff, the owners need to direct the staff better. I have read reviews saying this place smelled bad when walking in, Ive never noticed an odd smell in the restaurant and will continue to frequent.

What a great place! The food was amazing! Our server, CC, was very friendly and took fantastic care of us. She is awesome!! I had the chicken curry skillet with red potatoes and my wife had eggs benedict. Both meals were incredible. The portions were very, very generous! Oh yeah, our bill was under $20!!!

My favorite place to eat-in or takeout. Delicious and very clean. My favorite is the Hawaii 5-0. Unlike the negative review posted, Ive never smelled mildew or seen a cockroach in the place. I cooked on a sub in the Navy for 4 years and we had cockroaches on the sub.

Good diner style breakfast food and coffee but sadly suffers from the Florence wait staff issue like many of the other places. Some great staff and some absent minded staff that forgets to refill coffee or just ignores you.
