I work in the restaurant industry and although I am very genuine to any server that I have, this was the worst dining experience ever. It must have been our servers first day, absolutely no personality and it took thirty minutes to bring a Guinness to the table, when she finally brought our beer, they were so hot that sweat wasnt even coming off of the glass. The food was delicious I must say but I doubt I will ever go back and eat at the restaurant, Ill just order take out.

The food is good, but the service is horrible. Ive been to the Salty Nut four times and every, single time I have been disappointed by the service I receive. The waitresses act like you are inconveniencing them by being there. This past week, when I asked for a refill and waitress was extremely rude. The past few times I chose to write off the poor service, but Ive had it. I will not be returning to the Salty Nut again.

I love going to Salty. There is cheap, good fried food (thats all I could ever want). All the waiters and waitresses are nice, friendly people and are very helpful. Its the go-to place for away football games and NFL games. If you want a table though for an away USC game I recommend getting there an hour & 1/2 before kick off. But you can kill that time with their fried pickles and mimosa pitchers :)

This place is not upscale or quiet at all--its a college bar and grill--but they always have good food. Service varies, but isnt bad, usually. Their chicken tenders are huge, delicious, and come out painfully hot--watch your fingers. The burgers are good, too. For a side, its hard to beat their tater tots smothered in melted pimento cheese.

The Salty is a good laid back place to meet some women, drink, and eat peanuts..Its not a place to really go solo and stay all night..Its really a place to go get a good pregame to go do some heavier partying...Great place to watch sports and casually chat up women... I will give Salty Nut Cafe 3 out of 5 stars..

Took my son and his family yesterday . They live in upstate near Clempson where , according to my son, everything is better than midlands. He was very impressed. Food was hot, portions were hefty, and grandkids loved the fried pickles.. Well be back!

This place is so HOT that its ON FIRE!!!!!! Seriously though, mediocre bar food, chicken usually has lots of breading on it. Cheap typical college beer, cute waitresses, service isnt all that spectacular. If they reopen, im there.

Cool spot for a beer after work or on a Saturday afternoon. They have a large outdoor deck and the service is usually decent. Food is OK but there are definitely some better menus in 5 points.
