I went to this place almost every day in college, it was always slow but well worth the wait. The last few expierences though have been awful. Today the order was a bacon egg and cheese on sundried tomato bagel and a sundried tomato with cream cheese. We got our order 25 min later in a non crowded cafe. My bacon egg and cheese had a hair in it and the bagel with cream cheese was jalapeño and not sun dried tomato. I took my bagel up to the counter and quitely asked if they could make me a new one and they agreed, my girlfriend not wanting a confrontation went up to the counter and paid for a new one and made sure to exclaim that she wanted sundried tomato and not jalapeño. The second go around with our order came about 30 min later. My bacon egg and cheese was correct but again they gave her a jalapeño bagel and not what she asked for. This business has gone down hill since a few years ago and I dont know what would possess any one to go back to this sorry excuse for a cafe with terrible workers.

Horrible. Coffee was supposed to be hot--delivered cold. The egg and cheese sandwich on wheat bread was disgusting looking. The bread was stale, the egg and cheese was cold. The cheese was not even melted. I will never order from this place again. If I could rate it 0 stars I would!!!!!!!!!!!! I called to report these problems with my food...was told I could get another order fresh and hot. I waited 45 minutes and still no food. I called again and the guy who answered the phone did not even know what I was talking about--so, basically, they forgot about my re-order if it was even placed. I ended up losing my money because it was not worth it to be bothered with these people. The guy on the phone just said, "okay" when I said forget it. I guess they have enough people who eat their crappy food and my little money (that was basically stolen) did not make a difference. Never again!!

Although I would give the food all 5 stars, the customer service today rates at less than 1 star. I placed my order this morning (after calling 3 times before getting someone on the phone) and asked that my order be delivered around 1130-1145, which it was. However, the order was left with the receptionist (at my request) and she was told to inform me not to call them again if I cant leave a tip. I spoke with the manager on duty and he was very lackadaisical about the matter. I informed him it was very presumptuous of the driver to assume that I CANT leave a tip. The receptionist simply declined to leave one on my behalf since the card used to pay was not her own. He just said uh huh, well well have a talk with him and I apologize. No sincerity was detected in his tone at all and tip capability or not, I will heed the advice of the driver and NOT be ordering from them again.

Dont expect to get your order any time soon. The workers spent fifteen minutes staring at a computer that was apparently "frozen", which is a new excuse, usually it is just "down". When I asked for a manager, the person at register coughed awkwardly and told me he wasnt in. I felt bad for the workers, they looked frustrated but its still a business and they need to get it together. Plus the bacon was really thin on my breakfast sandwich, and they never have everything bagels .

Best bagels in town. I usually get an everything bagel toasted with a sausage patty and cheddar cheese. If you get just cream cheese they lay it on THICK most of the time, but its easy to scrape off. Good lunch options too. Prices for breakfast are great. They can get pretty busy so I always call my order in and its usually ready by the time I get there. Mostly metered street parking.

Really, its amazing. The french onion is super, too. My favorite sandwich has always been the Winston Salem. They deliver with no minimum order, and they are pretty fast if you get your order in before the lunch rush. The staff is always friendly, and the consumables are great. My only complaint is that they are not open 24/7.

I was very disappointed in the food. Everything looked great but when I received my order which was a bagel and a bowl of fruit I was not happy. My bagle looked like that had smacked 2 pounds of cream cheese on it. The fruit was watered down with no flavor, not even the pineapples.I will not waste my money there ever again.

I normally LOVE Carolina cafes sandwiches and breakfast. but today I got chef salad which came pre prepared in a box. Most of the lettuce was BROWN. I will never order a salad from then again. Not fresh at all. And the cashier lied to me about running out of ranch. I asked another employee and they gave me ranch.

Carolina Cafe and Catering is a nice place to grab lunch. The selection of bagel sandwiches is great, as are most of the selections. The service, while nice, is slow. I do have to recommend them for breakfast though. Their morning egg/bacon/cheese delivered to the door is amazing!

Always had minor problems, but the food is usually good. But Ive called them literally 8 times this morning to put in an order, and the phone just rang until it hung itself up. Seriously just lost my business.

Friendly service, and good food. Sometimes they will burn your croissant, or pack your meal ToGo instead of ForHere. They do not share their wireless Internet with their customers, even if you ask nicely.

Ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich at 9:15am and had it in my hand at 9:31 am. The delivery guy was friendly and my food is delicious. Will be ordering again in the future.

I am a partial vegetarian, and it is hard to find anything to eat on the days that I dont eat meat. They have a couple of good options that are well balanced. Fast service!

You never know what flavor coffee youll get. Sometimes youll get honey instead of butter. The food is good, but the owners are never there and the staff slacks off badly.
