The only cons I can think of are that its cash only and theres a bit of limited seating. However, after that it just sails away. Every employee smiled when I talked to them and spent their due time with me. The waitress knew everything that they did and did not have straight away which helped me a great deal in making my order. The food came out incredibly quickly (Were talking 5 minutes) and I got a blueberry muffin which was cooked on the grill and tasted amazing. With that muffin I got 2 huge banana pancakes with whole slices of banana cooked into the pancake. Simply amazing. All incredibly cheap. A coke, the muffin and the two pancakes came out to $7.24. Absolutely stunned by the price. I would come here as much as I could and I recommend yall to do the same.

Ordinarily, I am very pleased with this little homestyle restaurant...However, I was with a friend today, and I was so disappointed with the quality of the broccoli that was served...It was not a nice bright green like fresh broccoli should be..Instead, it was a brownish green which I am positive had been laying in a steamer too long.. Please take this as constructive criticism, rather than a complaint.. My reason for even mentioning this is simply because I would like to see you continue to enjoy a very successful business..I myself will return again, but there are others that would be turned off by an occurrence such as this and would never return.. Id had the breakfast as takeout once before. Ordered the "Hungry Man" and was astonished at the quality AND quantity of the food. I had to make a trip and dine in. I visited on a Thursday evening and had Breakfast for dinner. I got the "Not-So Hungry Man" which consisted of one egg (looked more like two), one sausage, one piece of bacon, home-fried potatoes, toast, and a large (it covered the plate) blueberry pancake. All of it was absolutely delicious. So much food that i only ate half the pancake. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. The only thing they fell short with was the decor. The place was clean, but outdated and could use some new booths.

Breakfast and the sandwiches are a 4 out of 5.. The dinners more like a 2 out of 5. Good "old people" food. Cheap with not much flavor. Breakfast is good, burgers and sandwiches, but dont order the dinners... They do a poor job on the dinners. The owner recently got married and doesnt spend much time there, so the food has sort of gone down hill. Other note: The two people who claimed the kitchen has health violations and is a mess... How would they know? The kitchen is hidden. Ive been to this Diner a dozen times and have never seen any mess at all.

The food is great and we have never been disappointed. Their specials are always excellent. My favorite is the Turkey Dinner. My husband and I especially enjoy the people and customer service. The people make us feel like part of their family and our dinners are always steaming hot. They also check back several times on us while were eating, they really are great. PS. Dont forget to try their grapenut pudding. ( Yummy)

Went for breakfast this morning. Service was excellent and the server was very nice. Its a seat yourself place, with a homey feel. Food overall was good. Its not fancy, but it is delicious. Pancake was full of flavor, was fluffy and was pretty large. The hash was savory and good (we were told to get the hash well done if you want a crunchy crust). Great experience overall, remember to bring cash with you though.

I have only been here once and the food was not great. The wait staff is nice and the locals all love the place, probably because they never leave Rhode Island, or Smithfield for that matter. What I will tell you is that the kitchen is disgusting, tons of health code violations, and the owner runs some shady business. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Tables are very wobbly, they took forever to get me my food. Finally got my food after 30 minutes of waiting for it and then it was cold. Only good thing here is the parking lot was basically empty. Final thing, the coffee tasted like garbage. Just left and the waitress wrote the total on a random slip of paper and gave no recite.

Great local eatery with a wonderful family feel. Laura and her staff seem to know everyone who comes through the doors; and if they dont youll still feel welcome. Good food-great prices. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, you really cant go wrong. My wife loves the homemade meatballs and sauce!

The service is slow and you can wait in line for a while. The food also takes a while to come out. However, the selection is incredible and the food is amazing. Also, for the price you cannot go wrong. Id say it is worth the wait overall 4/5 stars would go again.

Went out to brunch today, Lauras never disappoints. Their food is consistently good. I would dare say one of the best "neighborhood" restaurants in Rhode Island. I love bringing out of state guests here to get a taste of "Little Rhody" cuisine.

The staff was nice. The food was OK. I guess l like texture in food and there was none. Everything was soft. The home fries, the hash, the toast, the eggs. Soft. However everything was tasty and besides the cash only rule it wasnt bad.

Place was awesome. 1st time I went and it wont be my last. Seafood prices are alot cheaper than most restaurants. The meals are large portions too. The staff is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Just stopped in for the first time, for breakfast. The corned beef hash is homemade and incredibly good. Service was fast and friendly. The place was clean and had free wi-fi. Ill be going back.

i ordered a chicken salad wrap and come to find out the chicken was bad. thats not the end of it, when i walked to my car i peaked in the kitchen and out was a mess

Great restaurant. Portions are a good size. Foods is cooked well and well seasoned. Wait staff is on top of things. Can be busy, so prepare for a wait.
