To me, a bar is like a barber shop. I should be able to talk about whatever I want with the person in the chair next to me. If the person cutting my hair wants to chime in, great; so long as they dont inhibit the conversation. I know the second I mention Fox News most people will write me off, but today I asked to have Fox News playing at Pour Judgement and one bartender accommodated my request (two TVs were playing the same channel so it was no big deal when I asked for one to play FN). When another bar tender saw FN on TV he turned the channel off. I requested FN be placed on the television again and he said, "no politics in the bar." I said I was not looking for politics, merely news on the TV. He refused to put FN on the set. Rather than get into an argument over it, I let my dollar speak for itself, settled my tab, and went straight home and posted this comment. Pour Judgement has some great beers on tap. However, I cant give my time or my money to an establishment that refuses to allow its customers to view the programming it desires. I thought the point of enjoying a pint was to engage in conversation that provokes intellectual banter whether watching FN or not? When did the views of those who serve the beverages become the moderator of what gets debated at the bar stool, whether those views be from the left side of the aisle or the right. This bartender chose to impose his political views on those paying for drinks and as such cost PJ some decent income. Thank goodness we have a venue like the web to publicize such a virile display of nearsightedness like that displayed by Pour Judgement. God bless the First Amendment and free speech in America! I guess some folks would rather freedom from speech rather than free speech in America. Very sad!

Absolute best restaurant / bar off Broadway & in Newps. PJ not only offers a full stocked bar with different craft beers they change all the time. PJs menu is incredible. They have a welcoming environment and the best staff. Pint nights are great too. Would HIGHLY recommend going for Brunch and getting any of their eggs Benny or getting their chili cheese nachos or spaghetti carbonara. PJ is the place to be. There are no letdowns besides sometimes a long wait which is unavoidable on weekends around here anyway. Love love love!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty good spot! Must be, it was PACKED on a Thursday when I went. We went to see a friends band and had a very good time. They have very hard to find craft beer on tap! The food was also very good and reasonably priced. My only complaint would be that it is very small but is negated by the great atmosphere.

A narrow, dim bar with a really great burger. They werent kidding, its lovely. Excellent beer list, with enough variety you wont be let down. Bartender was great, and the crowd in the middle of winter was a mix of locals and disaffected sailors, my kind of people. Worth a trip for any beer enthusiast.

The place were all the locals go. Best food value in town. One of the best draft beer selections in town. The nori, southwest eggrolls and general tso wings are amazing. They also have a great beer and burger special. If you are a vegetarian the black bean burgers are also delicious.

The blackened fish burrito with homemade kimchi is fantastic!! And the Pour Judgement IPA is one of my favorites!! I hit this spot every time Im in town. Typically good bar music playing and the staff is very attentive. It is definitely a small place, havent been on a weekend.

Great beer!!!! Great service. NOT great food. Turkey chili nachos: ketchup colored chili from a can? no stars Southwest rolls: Costco has better, no stars Teriyaki Wings: super salty, one star Heirloom tomato salad: refrigerated tomatoes, no flavor, 2 stars.

Food and drinks were great but there is very limited room so be prepared to wait for seats and be a little crowded. Impressive menu, we were pleasantly surprised. Good options for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Fries were amazing.
