If I could give this place a zero I would. I brought a lemon squad and it tasted like wet dog I thought it was just me so I got another person to taste it I didnt tell him what it tasted like to me but he told me it tasted like wet dog too. I went to get a refund for ALL of my stuff and the older lady had a straight attitude towards me saying smart stuff like "Have you ever tasted a dog before" and "You cant return food have you ever went to a restaurant and returned food" Im so pissed I ever came here. I also told her I would report this place and she says"Oh yeah to who" very smart. Not professional at ALL at least when theres a problem with there food. Very disappointed and wont EVER be back. I hope this place closes down SOON and gets HEALTH INSPECTED!!!! SOMEONE had a DOG in there!!!!

Owner totally rude. I ordered cupcakes for my sisters bridal shower. I expressed I wanted something like a margarita cupcake(which you can find on Pinterest) after speaking with either the manager I thought we decided on a vanilla cupcake with lime frosting and clear sugar. I got lemon flavored cupcakes with pink and green frosting and pink and green sugar on top. When I called to let her know she was rude, and not apologetic. Not to mention it was 79.00 for 24 cupcake size cupcakes. They were not professional, completely overpriced and the cupcake and frosting were very generic.

I was recently in Newport for the weekend with my husband, celebrating our first anniversary. Id never been to Newport before and did not know any of the bakeries in town but to surprise my husband, I called up Mad Hatter and asked them to make a small cake similar to what our wedding cake was. Mad Hatter was more than happy to oblige, and made the most delicious cake that looked gorgeous and was priced great as well! Thank you, Mad Hatter Bakery!

Rude owner. Walked all the way over to this place for the 8am opening with my 1 year old hoping to buy some coffee. The very nice checkout person said she is not allowed to take cards. I offered to add a banana bread so it would be six dollars. She asked the owner in the back and she screamed "no!" Not the kind of welcoming neighborhood coffee place I enjoy. Stay away.

Went to a birthday celebration recently and the birthday cake was a Mocha sheet cake from the Mad Hatters Bakery. Sooo good that I just ordered a Mocha cake for my daughters birthday. Cant wait to taste it again tonight!!! Mad Hatters makes the Best Mocha Cakes.
