The BJs in Watertown is a great place to stock up on bulk items while going at your own pace and not having to worry about a chaotic shopping experience. This location doesnt seem to draw many people (at least when I tend to go), and the store is well stocked and organized nicely. I wish they offered more tastings on a regular basis, as most of the time I go theres nothing going on, which is half the fun of shopping here! That being said, they do have great prices on deli items, and they carry a lot of name brand food and household goods that I use. I have purchased electronics here before, and if you are in the market for a TV they tend to have very competitive prices. There doesnt seem to be much staff patrolling the floor of the store, so if you need help finding something it might take you a while. They also always seem to understaff the checkout area, which means that even if there are less than 10 people waiting to check out, you will need to wait. They do offer self checkout, but my experience is that it ends up taking longer than waiting in line because the machines are very finicky and tend to require the attention of the store clerks to get them to accept all of your items.

This is literally the WORST BJs in the whole New England area. The entire staff are extremely rude and when I say ALL I mean ALL... I went to atleast 7 different people looking for help and they are rude to the point where u have to either walk away or instinctively you will respond in a defensive manner that is the easiest way I can describe there rudeness by the way they actually make you feel. They make you feel like your nothing to them but a bum trying to get change or something and then when you do actually buy something they treat you like rich scumbags who dont work for nothing. Its like there not satisfied. Theres got to be some haunting in the store that causes workers to be angry I cant understand it. Even the man at the door greeting people was rude. Thats almost impossible LOL ive never seen a rude greeter... like how in the H**LL do you greet people rudely if its your Job to do it as nice as possible. Yes even the cashier was a rude little Bi*CH too I would never go here nor would I recomenned this horrible store to anyone.. 19thousand thumbs down this store is horrible!

This place has gone way, down hill! If you need anything at the Service Booth, forget it! They have 1 employee and the line grows, and grows. No one comes to help out and the lone employee takes his/her sweet time solving the customers problems. No sense of Urgency for the growing line. The same happens in the Deli. One or 2 employees and an ever growing line. My next issue could involve legalities (I still need to research that part). BJs issues coupon books to all its customer. This seems like a great gesture. Who doesnt love to save money? The problem is that I have noticed that whenever a coupon is available, the non coupon price has increased. 2 examples are Famous Amos Cookies. They were $9.99, 2 weeks before the coupon came out. I go to buy them with the coupon but the asking price is NOW: $11.99. The same goes for Stoneyfield Kids, yogurt tubes. Just a few years ago they were $5.99, then $6 something then $7.49. As soon as a new coupon came out, the price increased to $9.99. BUYER BEWARE! Especially if a coupon is in the booklet. I am thinking of switching to Costco.

Tuesday, 07/08/2014 Ive been waiting for a month for my new eyeglasses, ordered on 06/10/2014. Ive called a couple of times and have been given different excuse of why there not in yet. On Thursday 07/03/2014 I was at the store checking on my order and was told my glasses would be in yesterday, 07/07/2014 and would be called as soon as they came in. I have not received a call yet. I called a few minutes ago to see if they came in yet. I identified myself and was told they were to busy to check right now and that I shoul call back later. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. This is the second pair of glasses Ive bought at BJs, and I assure you it will be my last. David Buckley

One of the all-time worst shopping experiences ever. The staff was rude, the products were so-so and the prices were no better than Star Market, Shaws, or Target. Costco is MUCH better. Additionally, when I asked about options for shopping, I was told that I had to either do a $45 or $90 membership. I had bought the $45 membership when the membership desk person let it slip that there was indeed a third option - a 60 day free trial period. She was incredibly annoyed and rude when I switched to the trial membership. Im so glad I did the trial, because it is the first and last time Ill shop at the Waltham BJs.

Ive been coming to this location for 6 months and although I enjoy the bargains I get at BJs, I have to express my disdain for the the atomosphere. The entire staff appear to be so miserable. They do not acknowledge their customers - the staff avoids eye contact and never welcomes their customers. Forget about asking a question of the staff - they act as if its an intrusion.

Great workers very nice and polite. Very bad inventory management I will go there see something I like a lot it flys off the shelf and never seen again. 3 out of 5 times I go for soda its not there pepsi in general. overall 3 out 5 stars and the stars are for the workers not inventory. If you want consistency go to Cost Co. seems they have better inventory management skills.

Have to waste time manually cutting coupons here to get the discount. All applicable coupons gets deducted automatically at Costo and Sams club and selection and stuff are much better at those places.

Excellent! Everyone is so nice, told us where things were and we kept having trouble at the self-checkout, but the man there was so kind and patient. I would recommend bjs to everyone!!!!
