DONT GO HERE! Disgusted! I went to this Perkins a few months ago. Normally I love Perkins. Mount pocono is great but this place was the worst place Id ever been. I took my children to dinner here as we stayed at a local hotel on vacation. There were maybe three others dining and our waitress who was obviously new was very sweet but it took the hostess a few minutes to place us. No problem. We ordered over a hundred dollars worth of food and waited forever. When it finally came it was dry tasteless and just a mess. We didnt eat half of it. As we waited and while we ate the staff was yelling and cursing in the kitchen and even decided to sit directly behind us and curse laugh and yell with my children right there. A man who worked there but had just gotten off decided to blow me kisses from the kitchen doorway and when I spoke to the manager after tipping the poor waitress 20$ she apologized BUT since the staff overheard my complaint (which I spoke very kindly and never once became rude) decided to go into the parking lot and key my Cadillac Escalade. The entire passenger side!! Police were called, complaint filed ect yet still Perkins did not do anything to fix the sittuation even though the manager knew the man who did it. Im so disgusted and will never go to or recommend this place again. No wonder it was empty. Wake up people, we spend our hard earned money here if you dont like your job find a new one. I cant express how disgusted I am with this establishment!

My experience wasnt the best. I ordered a Belgian waffle and it was horrible. The waffle was very salty, the carpet was filthy, and the waitresses had a rude demeanor. Anyways, if you come to Stroudsburg, PA, there are many other better local breakfast and lunch places such as Comptons Breakfast and Lunch Diner, or Sarah Streets Grill. This restaurant doesnt really deserve a decent review. However, I gave this restaurant TWO STARS mainly because the food output was quick, and the tables were clean. It is also packed in the morning. AVOID THIS PLACE AND GO TO OTHER LOCAL DINERS THEYRE BETTER. UPDATE: I visited this location again and I must say this place has greatly improved. Quick service, kind staff and delicious food! I take back everything I have said in my previous review.

Terrible service. When I went to Perkins with my wife and daughter, we waited forever to be seated. The host saw us waiting and simply ignored us for a long time. He wasnt overtly rude, but treated us like we didnt exist. When we were finally seated, the waitress gave us the same treatment. We waited and waited, but she never came to our table to introduce herself or offer to get us something to drink. Eventually we got tired of waiting and just left. We drove down the street to the Triplets Family Restaurant, where we received much better treatment.

They are open 24/7. If youre hungry at 2am, where else are you going to go? My breakfast potatoes were good. The peach cobbler Belgian waffle was tasty, but soggy in the center. If I ordered it again, Id ask for the peaches to come on the side. My fried eggs were made well, however I did not appreciate the slices of processed American cheese melted on top. The service was okay. My waitress was okay. David, behind the counter, was wonderful. His demeanor was welcoming. If I do come back, itll be because David made me feel welcome.

Every time my girlfriend and I go here the food is always cooked perfect, servers are friendly, and we never leave upset. Even the times they are very busy they manage to get us in and out without giving us the rushed feeling. The manager David Johnson is always friendly and we had a short conversation about both being in the military and for me being in a customer service based career field, it is very nice to see somebody get personal with the customers and make them feel welcomed and comfortable. Great job everyone!

The famous Perkin’s. The is the local breakfast spot on Main Street, Stroudsburg which was tasty. My 1 mini waffle platter was very delicious. Our waitress Jasmine was very warm hearted with a welcoming smile. Very attentive as well. I had a pleasure having breakfast there before heading back to NYC. I highly recommend going to Perkins. My ONLY issue was…while sitting waiting on my breakfast I notice a customer sitting across from me cleaning her nails with the eating utensils. Gross!!!!!!

My husband and went there for lunch. They werent busy with just a few other customers present. We sat in our seats for awhile and selected our meals...and continued to sit some more. A couple waitresses came to check on the other customers and simply ignored us. No one came by to take our drink orders or even acknowledged our presence. We finally gave up and walked out. It was a terrible experience!!!

The restaurant itself is amazing, with amazing food. Our waiter, Carlton, was very rude and disrespectful. We told him that we had just come from a visitation for one of our friends who had died in a car accident, and he responded with, "Oh, thats depressing. Youre killing my mood. Knock it off." I have never wanted to slap someone so hard in my life. How can someone be so hideous?

Wonderful experience at the restaurant. Lorraine made the visit extra special. Before serving out food she did not like the way my vegetables looked and she had them replaced. You dont find waitress that take pride in there job or care about the customers anymore. Glad we stopped in.

I was at this Perkins about 2 days ago. The waiter was very nice and letted me took my time what I would like to order. I wasnt sure about having a pancake dippers. But I gave it a try and it was delious!! Easy to dip!!! If you are visting near Stroudsburg or live there go to Perkins.

It was the worst visit to Perkins i had ever had. Cold food and i think under staffed! Will be a long time til I go back there! This is thePerkins restaurant in Stroudsburg off Rt 80. I cant even bring myself to give them a star.

I not from PA but every time I visit the Poconos area or any other area in PA "I have to visit this particular location" I just like Perkins- its nothing special but - its fun to go there and have breakfast and coffee.

Wait staff & manager very nice, food very good, stayed late past closing at 1am with my large family of 9 to accomodate us on our vacation for a birthday! Only place around Kalahari Resort that is open late!

11/26/16....Always pass this on the highway when we go to Outlet stores, Well finally we stop there for bfast...its was worth the trip...excellent food and service...pancakes so fluffy and delicious...

No wait to be seated and coffee arrived quickly. Food was very large portions but only ok. Coffee was hot but week. Server was very nice to us. Not what we all remembered from our childhood.

Pretty much like almost every other Perkins, decent food, decent service and decent value. Nothing particularly special, but youre pretty much assured of a good meal.
