For several years, I have been seasonally employed at a location adjacent to Lubertos. My experience with their non-bakery menu is substantial. Ill keep it short: if you want anything other than bread from this place, go to Capri in Plumsteadville instead. The service here is mediocre. The food is overpriced and--whats worse--has made me sick on at least two occasions. Oh, they also have no where to sit inside and take too long to cook your food. Long lines are common and extremely annoying because they are so slow. I believe they stay in business because theyre the only game in town on 413 for several miles in either direction. While I havent been to their restaurant in Dublin, I have no desire to after my vastly underwhelming panoply of experiences here. One last note: the only other review (wherein the restaurant inexplicably accrued 4 out of 5 stars) admits that the food is often no good. I can attest to this! Stay away.

My family has been going here to get food and bakery items since it opened. A couple months back when we all ordered hoagies, My moms cheesesteak they "Accidently" put anchovies on it. Who the hell puts anchovies on a CHEESESTEAK? We obviously complained, decided to give them another chance. We ordered ITALIAN hoagies the following week, when we came home, I find out they gave us everything but the MEAT on the hoagies. Are monkeys working in the kitchen? This is just the tip of the iceberg of the countless mindless mistakes they have made. Today was the third strike after SPECIFIC orders on how we wanted something made was once again messed up by the monkey in the kitchen. When we decided to come in and talk to them about it, instead of them apologizing for their countless mistakes on food orders, The fat man behind the counter said he would no longer allow us to be customers. Thats what I call UNPROFESSIONAL!

My family has been here a number of times and I always love it. This has become a standard by which my wife and I compare Italian places. They have really great pasta dishes with fabulous sauces. My favorite is the cream vodka sauces. They have really good specials and love the bruschetta and bread. The pizza is also very good. I have always had good service and the prices are very reasonable. Its nice to go somewhere with the whole family, get a great meal without breaking the bank. I really like the fact that its BYOB as well. I have gone many places and paid more money and received inferior food. BTW, the portions are large enough to box the leftovers and have a great lunch for work the next day.

Unlike their wildly popular place in Dublin, this location has no restaurant (or public restrooms). But it does have great take-out food, including excellent Italian specialties, a well-stocked bakery for breads and desserts, prepared salads in the Deli case as well as a good, standard Pizza operation. Our hands-down favorite take-out is their Eggplant Parm- the best anywhere- but anything with their killer, homemade tomato pasta sauce will be great. You can stop-in and get a nice meal to bring home in minimum time.

Lubertos is great. The bakery bread is delicious, the red sauce on their take-out dinners is really good, and the rolls that come with each meal are yummy. The pizza is okay. I buy grocery items there, too. The parmesan cheese is very-well priced, and I even picked up a few foodie Christmas gifts there this year. I also get lettuce and other fresh veggies on the way home from work, when Im too tired to deal with a supermarket.

Lubertos is fine for pizza and other pasta dishes. If you want better food go to Cafe Alessio or Domani Star. As for Lubertos in Dublin the restraunt is very good for the price and is BYOB. I dont think Lubertos ever claimed to be gourmet food. Remember that competitors can get yahoo & google accounts and disparage one another...as for me I am a local soccer dad who leads a busy life. Go buckingham united!!!

Always great ingredients, whether youre getting Italian take-out, pizza, deli meats/cheese, or pastries. Also the best fresh rolls in the area, by far.

For take-away Italian, theres no better option. Fantastic pastas and pizzas, great bread and bruschetta, decent salads.
