The most impressive part of the visit is the exceptional staff. They are knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, and patient while youre trying to decide on a meal. Everyone always has a smile on their face and an air of genuine happiness. The food is a decent portion and price, and very filling. However at no point during the meal do you forget the reality that everything is really pre-packaged and frozen, and just a generally lower quality product. It is a good value for your money, and easy place to eat if youre feeling like Italian food, but not if youre feeling "real" Italian food.

This is a very beautiful restaurant that opened only about a year ago. All of the service staff from the waiters to the bartenders were extremely pleasant and helpful. My younger brothers are twins and Autistic and can be a handful but the staff is always willing and able to make it a wonderful dinning experience. They brought out crayons, coloring pages, the boys drinks and the breadsticks ASAP so they wouldnt be without something to do. They even brought out an appetizer when the boys meals were delayed for some reason in the kitchen and they didnt charge us for it!

Had lunch on 12/16/12, lasgana fritta appetizer and zuppa toscana was very good. Ordered parm crusted chicken with alfredo and was severely disappointed. Chicken was of extremely poor quality both myself and girlfriend, a big piece of cooked rubber, inedible. Alfredo sauce was below average, could use more garlic, generally under seasoned. Never been so disappointed in an Olive Garden meal. The food is always at the very least half decent. Service was fair. I have serious reservations of ever going back to this particular restaurant.

My waitress was obviously over-booked on tables, or whatever you want to call it. She ran from table to table and made it impossible to ask for things like a refill on my water, because she was gone in a flash. Furthermore, she made it seem like I was the worst human being in the world for needing to eat gluten-free and that I needed to make sure she told the kitchens that my meal was gluten-free. Overall, I was stressed out from dealing with her and the service was poor. I needed a drink afterwards to chill out.

Had the most pleasant dining experience at The Olive Garden Restaurant in Springfield yesterday with my family. Food was hot, hostess was polite & friendly,so was the waitress,no wait time for a table with no one in there nor did we have to sit at our table 15 mins before youre even bought water or anything. Unlike my 2 experiences at the one on City Line. Will never visit that one again. My experience here restored my faith in The Olive Garden Restaurant

Okay, OG is always a delight. However, Springfields OG, especially in the bar area, is an absolute NIGHTMARE. Even at 11:30 on a Sunday morning. The noise is horrendous, and Im not talking about drinks being mixed. Maybe its the acoustics. I absolutely could not hear a word of my friends conversation. I couldnt wait to get out of there. Its horrible. The service was slow but friendly. I will go back but never again to that back room.

Overcooked and child size portions. My family and I went to the Springfield OG for lunch today and the food and service was terrible. The spaghetti was way overcooked and the portion was so small. Isnt a box of spaghetti $1 and it feeds 6? They gave me about 10 cents worth. We were waiting so long for our waiter that the manager noticed and came by to pick up our empty plates. Seriously, save your money and walk over to Bertuccis.

Honestly it was terrible. This was the third time I have gone to Olive Garden with my friends and family and they have treated us like children. The waitress rarely visited our table and when she did she was very rude. The food was cold and took a long time to come out when there was only a few other people there. Our waitress also miscounted our money and over charged us by ten dollars, save your money and walk to Bertuccis.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door by a friendly hostess, when we got to our booth we were greeted very quickly by our waiter amir, he was professional as soon as he came to the table! He made us feel very welcome and smiled the whole time, from the way he poured my wine to when our food came out he did not faulter once! He was very knowledgable and friendly he even remembered my lemon wedge for my pasta

Really surprised with the service today... Everything taste blah, and not that hot to its expectation.Drinks were not pleasing, taste like an icee. Also it was alot of food which I saw alot of waiters dopped on the floor and looked kinda gross. I Usually have a better experience at this location. The waiter was friendly but not attentive enough also forgot my food to go.Hopefully will have a better experience next time.

Olive Garden has really gone downhill over the last few years and this location is no exception. Chicken was rubbery and tasteless and potatoes tasted instant and gluey. The bruschetta was disgusting. All the food is really overpriced considering that it tastes like it just came out of a microwave. Will never come here again- Bertuccis blows this place out of the water.

Waited 20 mins for our drinks which came with our app and salad and breadsticks. Our waitress ignored us most of the time.. took over an hour from seating to be served our entree which at the point we got to go - and it wasnt even busy it was lunch! Normally wait staff apologizes, but nope.. nothing. Never going there again - go to Bertucci or Carrabas

Seated within a minute after arrival. Good lunch specials, hot food. Extremely cold which makes your food cold quickly. The employees stand around talking, instead of taking orders. Waitress continually brought unordered items and kept asking us over and over what we ordered, then replied with an attitude, when we repeated what we wanted.

Great place to take your child. Food was served pretty quickly so my 3yr old didnt have to wait too long to eat. Which was great for us. Tasty pasta dishes at a great price. Our server did a nice job as well. She was very friendly and helpful. The manager here was great too. Will definitely come back to this Olive Garden in Springfield.

It is so far the worst olive garden I have been to so far in this country pasta was overcooked and undercooked and the chicken taste like it was boiled and still pink so it was not cooked all the way. The only good things where the server and the salad and bread sticks that come with your food

Service was very good from the hostess to our waiter, attentive, friendly and polite. Food was average, my calamari appetizer was stingy and very over cooked, but my entree lobster raviolis were delicious. The food came out in a timely fashion, not too fast, not a long wait either.

The food is good, which I expect from this chain; however the crowd management needs improvement. Our pagers never alerted us that our table was ready and we would never have known we were ready to be seated if I had not have personally inquired after a very long wait.
