Been going to this dinner since I was about 3 years old. Now that my wife works there I like to stop in about twice a week to get myself a sandwich and say hi to everyone. Today I was sitting there waiting for my order when Ted and Manny who are the owners came out and told I must leave. I asked why they said they have been getting complaints about me be loud and rude. When I go I sit along and quietly eat and enjoy this mediocre food In a lousy dinning room. You can make this same food at home and iy would be more tasteful and a lot cheaper. The owners also dont treat there employees well. Not only has my wife told me this but so has 3 other people who work there. The mother and son who own it also have been known to argue in front of the guest because they both like to be right. I have witnessed it first class. As of today they have lost a loyal costumer.

its 6pm, dinner time and this big place is empty. let me explain to u why, this is a one star place for price gouging. $6.95 for just a 6oz bacon cheese burger that only comes with lettuce and mayo and two small pieces of fried onion rings. its an additional 45 cents for a slice of tomato on it and its also an additional 45 cents for a slice of onion on it. thats price gouging. Then if u want a side of fries that are small in size with it, thats gonna cost u another $3.50. Price gouging again. If u plan on getting a full belly here, u best stop at the bank first thats right next door and apply for a loan. a one person 6oz bacon cheese burger meal with a drink costs $14 here. without tip. thats why this big place is empty at dinner time at 6pm.

Nice place to grab a quick bite to eat. Clean establishment with friendly staff. Very accommodating with children. Bathrooms were clean to boot. I ordered the fish special which was pretty good. The portion was not particularly large, but since it comes with an endless salad bar, why should it be? The salad bar was well laid out including a special hot bacon dressing and at least half a dozen different breads and muffins to choose from. The best part was dessert. They had many pies to chose from. Strawberry rhubarb was delicious. When we were leaving, the manager ran out the door to return something we left on the table. Much appreciated.

... but my wife had a bad meal here once which kind of ruined her impression of the place. But I guess any restaurant can have a bad day. Its a very nice, rural family-style/diner type restaurant with very friendly staff, very nice salad bar, and very clean. Prices are very reasonable and if you live in the general area, they often put generous coupons in the local papers. Also, the best time to go is on a weeknight and not a weekend because on weeknights, they have dinner specials for like 8 bucks where you get soup and salad bar, full dinner, dessert, and drink all included!

Some of the food was OK, but the burger was a joke...small, tasted horrible, not cooked the was we asked. Overall all the portions were small and overpriced for the amount of food received. The burger and sandwiches we ordered came with a pile of potato chips on the side...no fries included...I mean really? Fries are an extra cost side that should have come with a burger that wasnt inexpensive either....they really should have come with all the sandwiches. Also, the employees on duty were a bit odd in my opinion. I would not go there again.

One of the worst places Ive been to. Dont ever order a chopped sirloin steak from here. I did & I ended up with what looked like a plain hamburger. I asked waitress what the chopped sirloin steak was. She said its a sirloin steak and that she didnt even know why they put chopped in the name of the steak. It said it was served with onion rings. Lol. I got 2 onion rings. French fries were soggy with no salt. Disgusting. This place dont even deserve a star. What a joke. Looks like a nice place but looks can be deceiving.

It says that it is Dutch, but the only thing that is Dutch there is Heineken, food is an usual american food. I was there with my girlfriend on Friday, September 10. The food was below average. But the worst thing was that, we havent finish the appetizer and they already served us the full dinner. So after I finished the appetizer the dinner was almost cold!!!!! What the f*** was that?!! No wonder that there were only few people inside on Friday evening. Dont go there, safe your money!

Sadly I would say the Sunday breakfast buffet which us offered once a month was overpriced so average. Surrounding. clean, very nice wairless but I can unfortunately say I didnt want seconds and after seeing the lack lustre offerings wasnt sure I wanted firsts. We just wont go back. No reason to make anything more of it other than it wasnt for us. Sharon

Quiet, local businesses tucked away, but accessible to travelers. Good prices, good food, cant complain. Weekdays are the best time to go due to specials and minimal crowds. Ideal place to take the family and kids to, as their menu is plenty diverse.

Food is decent. Had breakfast one day and dinner another. Food came out quickly both times. Coffee is excellent, likely the best thing there. Service was lacking in friendliness and attentiveness at dinner. Breakfast service was fairly good.

Nasty and dirty, cocky waitresses and staff. Went here for my girlfriends birthday, after waiting for over an hour for our food it was cold and tasted like it was cooked in a dirty gym sock. We wont be going back there ever

Great place to eat if you enjoy home style penn dutch food or other classic diner fair. Menu also includes extensive ethic offerings such as stir-fry and quesadillas. Beer is available and served in novelty mason jars.

Old school restaurant with great service and great prices. If you are close and you want a straight forward place to get good homemade food you cant go wrong. If you want pan-asian fusion, keep it movin!

I have stopped here many times - usually with a bus group. The food and service are great (with super reasonable prices). If I could change anything - I would add a restroom or two.
