First off, this place was dirty when we went to get a table. Apparently there isnt a garbage can to throw your trash away and if its busy the employees cant get out to clean anything. No exaggeration, my husband and I saw at least 4-5 dirty table with trash all over them. Food all over the floors too. Fast forward to the food, it was GREASY! I ordered chicken instead of a burger, Im currently pregnant so I have to be extra careful about how things are cooked, so chicken seemed to be a safe bet. The chicken was so greasy it was pooling on top of the sandwich. The service is also pretty bad. I get it, I worked in the restaurant business for MANY years, it was beautiful out and one of those days where you just wanted to soak up the nice weather. But you still put on a fake smile and be nice to the people coming in. The cashier gave us the rundown, mumbled half of it and made no attempt at eye contact or anything, my husband noted he heard less than half of what she said. Then when our food was brought out the guy mumbled the food order and skulked back to his computer monitor. Everyone just looked downright miserable. As this was the first time we had been to a smashburger, I can honestly say, I wont be returning. If I want a good burger and people who are nice to me Ill go to Five Guys!

After reading all the bad reviews, I still had high hopes for smashburger. I had a awesome experience at the establishment, milkshake was good as I waited. I picked take out, So I get my food pretty quick. then I start to drive down the road making my way home, happy about this grub. At the same time destroying the fries. By the way theyre pretty good. So I finally get to what Ive been waiting for and I bite into my burger and I say to my self something is weird. So I take another bite, thats when I notice a key part of my sandwich was missing. Well how did that happen. Only GOD will ever know. I will be back next week, hopefully I can get the full experience from SmashBurger!!

The Radnor location has an operations problem, resulting in horrible service times. On a recent evening, I watched them take one customer order at a time, abandoning the cash register to perform seemingly random actions after taking that one order, leaving the other customers waiting in line. Then, some mysterious number of minutes later, someone would come back to the register to take another order. And so on. I left and went to Five Guys up the street and got a great burger in under 2 minutes. Smashburger is good food, if you are willing to wait a long, long time and be ignored by staff who seem to think thats okay.

The burger was okay, nothing to rave about. Definitely an upgrade from your regular fast food patty, with a good variety of toppings Their sweet potato fries were good, but a little soggy. The most disappointing thing was the management, which is why I gave 2 stars - there was a single employee behind the counter who had to take orders and mix the milkshakes during what looked like a busy lunch rush. The counter was unattended for several minutes at a time, while other employees who could have been taking orders were waiting for food to come from the kitchen or turning over tables.

I waited about 10 minutes for someone to actually come to the front to take my order and then waited about 15 minutes for my food. This is not typical for Smashburger and the other locations Ive gone to have been much quicker. In addition I was told they were out of milk so they couldnt make me a Milkshake but the person behind me ordered a milkshake from a different cashier and they made his without a problem. Looks like I just got the lazy cashier. For what its worth once the food came it was good.

I had been really looking forward to trying one of these. Everything was terrific except fo the burger!!! The rool, the onion straws, the gooey cheese, all except the meat! I cant remember the last time I had a burger this well cooked AND this greasy (*&^(@#&*$^*(&@ I showed the server, he agreed. Tasted good, it should have with all this grease. He said the meat is 80-20(%) which is too high a fat content for todays burgers to begin with but this seemed like 50-50, I kid you not. Very disappointed

Thought this place was great until I walked in. We had been hungry all morning and looked up when they opened and both online and on the door said they opened at 10:00 am but when we went in at 10:30 (the doors were open) we were told they were closed. Yet, the door said they opened at 10:00AM. On top of this the workers were extremely rude and had no customer service skills. It was a major let down and I will not be returning.

So last week was my 1st experience - so I cant conclude about "ALL" the items...however - overall the service was super slow (like they need more ppl); however, the staff was very friendly. HOWEVER the original smash burger was bland - like no season at all! The chicken burger was overcooked and dry (which btw adding a gallon of mayo does not cover this up!). I persoNally wouldnt care to go again.

The food here is great and the service is usually fast and easy. Its like a mix between a fast food place and a restaurant. This isnt to say the quality is any less because its not, its all good stays clean. Nice Modern environment that feels very comfortable and relaxing. There is always a survey that you can take for free fries Id advise you take it because the fries are slammin.

Not impressed. For 9 bucks I got a black bean burger and reg soft drink. The burger was dry and easily fell apart. There was one very large lettuce leaf and the taste was acceptable. The place seemed busy and maybe sometime I will return and try one of the less healthy options. They do have some very yummy sounding shake flavors and a bunch of different fry flavors/types

Soooooooo much better than 5 guys! You can choose between like 4 different rolls and like 20 toppings. This is what a burger place should be like. The smash fries are awesome! Get those every time. Great soda selection and awesome shakes. Best semi-fast food burgers Ive ever had. .....I need one now. Oh and the jalapenos are soooooooo fresh. Watch out.

I ordered an bbq bacon burger. It took over 40 minutes. The bacon was dried out and the burger was thinner the wendys. Other people where getting their food before me. Alots of people were piss off. Management needs to put their foot down with the staff. And they want 15$ an hour. Lol stay away

Didnt really want to go to this place because Im not a beef girl. But they really changed my mind about burgers. I got the original smash burger and the rosemary fries. Make sure you get the rosemary fries! The fresh taste, mixed with salty and sweet from the ketchup is every foodies dream.

The quality of beef is excellent. Ingredients are fresh. Fries are HOT (but eat them quickly.) This is a great place to take kids on a field trip to study the Maillard Reaction. Service is efficient. A step above Five Guys (but you might miss the grease.)
