First time customer. The young lady at the register was very engaging snd polite. However, I so wanted to give rave reviews but I cant. My order of food was "Tasteless". Not one ounce of flavor in any of my dishes and I purchased many. The Owner, Im assuming, was not polite at all. Even after I said, Thank You Maam, she was still very detached from exhibiting any Customer Service Skills. I learned a long time ago, how you make somone feel is more important than anything else. It can overlook not so good food.

I purchased ribs for my mom a few months ago and I have only one criticism. The meat on the ribs were very tough and she could not eat them. I think the ribs need to be tenderized first and then put on the grill. I am giving you 5 stars for taking the time to respond back to your customers comments both positive and negative. That being said, I will give your place of business another try. I worked at usda for many years and I know what will make your ribs sell faster than you can make them. Tenderize them first!

I was following the truck in route to pick up my grand Daughters, and the smell was absolutely wonderful. I google them and found they had a Restaurant. I went there and got a Rib Platter, it was extremely delicious. Am from Willow Grove, PA and trust me I will be going there at least once a week to sample everything on the menu. I also got the fried shrimp OMG. the portions are very generous. It took me two days to complete my platter. A must try. I told all my family & Friends

So Im 6 months pregnant and had the worst craving for something sweet. I wanted to support a Black business so I dropped in, it was 30 minutes to closing. I asked the female owner what desserts they had and she reluctantly listed off what was available. I chose the peach cobbler. Then to my dismay and disgust she advised me that the minimum to use a debit card was $15! I walked out and will never return. Victorias Kitchens food is much better and thier service is exemplary.

Im all for supporting black businesses. I had all hopes of enjoying the food from this place but Id be lying if I said that I did. For starters everything was salty. (Collard greens and especially the BBQ sauce.) Mac & cheese was very greasy and too soft (over cooked noodles). The only two things we liked were the candie yams and good service. I hope this place take from some of this feedback and make things better because I would hate to see this black business close.

My third time here ever. Not happy with my food, again. My BBQ chiclen wings were burnt with extra sauce to cover it, the mac n cheese was tasteless and over cooked, the canied yams tasted like over baked sweet potatoes with no candied nothing. I added a slice of lemon cake that was tasteless and stale and peach cobbler that was bland. Very disappointed with this restaurant. After not coming in for 5 years, i see why i didnt and wont2be anymore.

I typically place my order for pick up; the last 3/4 times after paying for it and getting home - my order was incomplete [spent average $75]. Ive even tried going inside placing my order in person ... same deal, I pay for stuff I dont receive it ... with no restitution on their part! The service if iffy! Cashiers have an attitude most times! Owner Lady is nice ... food good - when you get it!

First time visitor. We are new to the area from Indiana and was looking for some soul food. We order whiting and catfish, along with chicken wings and side dishes. The food was very good and tasteful. We will return again. The service was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Owner anyways has a nasty attitude. I ordered mac and cheese, I watched as it was taken out of a small plastic container. When I requested a different side dish she rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth. Im not going back ever again.

Mac and cheese noodles were overcooked, mushy and salty. Sweet potatoes werent sweet ( i guess it is ok if you like it that way). Banana pudding was dry. The fried catfish was very good though. Customer service was good.

Pros...Good soul food at reasonable prices... Used to go to Victorias which is a few blocks away but they Have recently raised their prices...Uptown is just as good....Cons...not really feeling the dessert selections
