I decided to go here with my fiance and future sister in law. I looked over the menu and knew what Id order when I got there, and since it was Sunday around noon i expected some wait. The host took my name and said it would be twenty minutes. An hour later we still hadnt been seated, though there were many empty tables and staff standing around chatting and laughing instead of working. My server was very rude, and took another twenty minutes to take our food order even though we all knew what we were eating before we sat down. I ordered eggs benedict with extra hollandaise, and a side of corned beef hash. She brought the eggs benedict and told me the hollandaise was on the way, it came out over ten minutes later and was not very good at all (tasted like straight butter.) She forgot the side of corned beef hash, but when it finally did come out it was excellent... the only good part of the meal. My poached eggs tasted strongly of vinegar, the home fries werent bad though. Overall mediocre food, horrible service.

Favorite place to eat in all of Philadelphia! Everything is so fresh and delicious. Can it get any better, they grow herbs in the back? Gotta love that its a BYOB. Super friendly wait staff, experienced cooks. Dog friendly! Low prices, super great menu with a wide verity, try the specials, whatever they are, you cant lose! Asian duck pizza, bruschetta, sliders, pulled pork sandwich, shrimp and feta pesto pizza, Order it all! everyone I take there cant believe the quality and low price. Go their lunch or dinner (cant speak for breakfast because I havent gone but the menu looks great) You can see me there at least once a month (usually more). Walk in with a great bottle of wine, I promise you will be pleased to say the least.

Some of the best homemade food Ive had at a restaurant in a very long while! Just wonderful! Very, very flavorful, fresh ingredients, prepared perfectly, plenty to eat, just the right heat intensity for the dish. They even will make a smoothie with no sugar and just fruit. Cant recommend it highly enough! And this is coming from someone who regularly cooks at home with fresh ingredients from Whole Foods, a farmers market, and our own garden. We split an order of the Shrimp & Chorizo dinner with side dishes of sweet potato fries and sauteed spinach and garlic. Wow!!!

Ordered the chili ($9) and my wife had the Cobb Salad ($13) for lunch. Chili was okay--portion was adequate but overpriced. Should be offered as a cup/bowl option for $4/6. Cobb Salad was okay. Chicken was a bit overdone. Kids meal for $5 is a nice offering. Service was excellent and friendly. Even adjusted the bill voluntarily after my daughters pizza came out late/cold and heated it right back up. I would give it another try but I have a few other places in the area to sample first.

I have celiac disease and the first thing I asked my waiter was if they had a gluten free menu. He said no, because most of their food is gluten free and then he pointed out the gluten free bagels as well. I ordered a frittata with cheese, onions, peppers, and chicken sausage. He said all was gluten free. After eating it, I had the worst attack ever. Ended up in ER. Place is nice, foodis yummy but they clearly cross contaminate and are not educated on their menu.

I got the cinnamon raisin french toast today and it was bomb! Cooked perfectly and it looked amazing. I probaly devoured it in 8 mins. The setting is great, i love the art on the walls and the out door seating next to the garden (where they grow some of the food) is beautiful.

Lowered my review after a server cleaned up a plate that was hardly touched on a $12 burger while we were in the bathroom. The check hadnt been paid yet, our belongings were still at the table and the plate clearly wasnt done. No refund or replacement was given.

The Cornbread scramble was frelling amazing!! And a great place to sit and relax; the staff is great, the small garden where they grow their own food is very quaint, and the food is amazing. Update: DO NOT AVOID THE SWEET POTATO CHEESECAKE. Phe-nom-en-al!

Love this joint. Friendly staff, great breakfast foods, good smoothies. The staff run their butts off making sure everyone is taken care of. The coffee is good as well. Ive made this place one of my regular brunch places, and never leave disappointed.

One of the few East Falls breakfast/lunch options. Ordered breakfast bowl and sausage egg and cheese. Prices all hover around $10 for most everything. Breakfast sandwich was much better and probably more substantial than breakfast bowl.

We have been here on a few occasions and have never had a good experience. The food was average at best and the service was terrible. We asked about the specials and the server had no idea what was on the menu. We will not go back.

The absolute best breakfast place ever. My favorite is the garden frittata. Everything is fresh and delicious! Despite there being numerous diners and brunch places in Roxborough and Manayunk, they never compare to Trolley Car.

The food is always fresh and deliciously prepared. The staff is courteous, helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend the garden frittata with the nova salmon and cheese of your choice! I never leave this place unsatisfied!

Nice little restaurant in East Falls. The Cuban sandwich was well prepared and the staff was friendly, quick, and helpful. The seating out back is breezy and you can choose covered or not. They also have a little garden.

Good food and good service. I had the fish tacos which were tasty and filling. Could have used chips on the side for the accompanying guacamole though. Free WiFi and lots of outside seating!

Try the catfish and waffles or the salmon cheesesteak...both are tasty and filling. Their salads and sandwiches are always fresh.

I had the salmon cheesesteak...Ooo so good! The staff were friendly despite the business of trying to get the oven to work.
