Great beer selection and good food. Ive been pleased with the beer selection every time Ive been here. Sometimes theyre heavy on Belgians, other times on IPAs, but theres always a few great new treats to try. The food is real good for bar fare and wing lovers will not disappointed. The Honey Caribbean sauce is the best. I recommend it on a Buffalo Chicken Wrap. The service is good and the bartenders/waiters are friendly and willing to talk about the many many beers on draft and in bottles. (I cant post this without commenting on a previous review by Aidan - Jimmy is the man. I love his fat, bald, NON- coke sniffing head. Pretty bold statement Aidan. Youre just angry at yourself because you like crappy beer.)

Was just in there Saturday night (10/22/11). The fat, bald bartender is a coked-up freak. After asking for one pitcher of Lager, he brought me two and one was of Miller Lite, gross. Then he accused me of lying, and he made me apologise to get my beer. Allow me to repeat, I had to apologise for him making a mistake. He then proceeded to go to the bathroom 5 times in a half-hour, and he had the sniffles for the rest of the night. The fat, bald bartender is the only thing holding this place back other than the ugly, dirty Roxborough people inside. Bourbon Molasses Wings are rock solid tho.

This place has great, cheap food & surprisingly good beers on tap (last night they had 3 Philosophers!! for $7/tulip but still!) Also, I have been there a few times with my friends after local ultimate games and the BEST part about this place is the bald bartender, Jim! (Whom we lovingly call Mij because I become dyslexic when slightly inebriated...) so whoever was bashing him "Was just in there Saturday night (10/22/11)" better back the hell off this guy, Jim is the best! My friends & I love going in to see him Jim :) One of the greatest bartenders in Philly, no doubt!

Music was off the charts LOUD and very hard rock. Diet Coke was Flat and had No syrup !! Took over 50 minutes to get food and bar/restaurant had maybe 25 patrons total. Wings arrived at same time as the meal and they were so overcooked.... almost inedible !! Waiter NEVER came to check on us. He was too busy on his cell phone. We had to walk to the bar to get soda refilled !!! Only takes CASH as payment and ATM machine was broken. This place should be rocking on a Sunday Night during BB season and it was EMPTY. Now I know why. WILL NEVER BE BACK !!!

Love Union Jacks! I over-looked this place for a long time because it looks like a crap hole from the outside. The inside isnt anything special but the beer selection is AWESOME and the food is freaking AMAZING. I almost dont want to give away the secret but I had to give them a great review :)

I am very fat and eat tons of wings. These are the best by far. Try the sesame caribbean or something like that. They were sweet, spicy and had sesame seeds on them. Not to be overlooked, the fries are handcut fries like you would find in an English Pub or "chips" in the UK.
