Ordered an avocado, bacon, chicken, and tomato salad. Everything was fresh but this is pretty plain. Course pieces of iceberg, big chunks of tomatoes, one egg cut in half, maybe 2 oz of chicken (very small portion of meat to me compared to the overwhelming amount of iceberg). And there was like zero bacon. Maybe 1/8th piece separated into some crumbs. Should not have even mentioned bacon in the item description. It was so scarce it seemed like they put it in there on accident. Also very little avocado, maybe the equivalent of 3 very small short slivers. Mostly just a crap ton of chunky lettuce. This was my first time. Ordered Italian wedding soup and a bagel with lox for second visit. Italian wedding soup was fine, they could have had more than 3 pea sized pieces of meat in the entire bowl though. The lox were fine. The bagel was very hard and the sandwich fell apart with every bite because of this. Rather annoying. A LOT of grammar filled excuses on owners behalf for simply not having quality. I wont be back.

I made an order at 10:02 and got a confirmation email at 10:05 am... for a delivery through grubhub. I understand places can be busy and they get multiple orders during the day. I also understand being late and calling the customer. It is now 12:15 pm and my food has not been delivered. Dont pull the oh well I suggest you come into the store because the whole reason for delivery is because you cant. I had a baby who was sleeping and woke up to no lunch. No big I can whip her something up real fast but was banking on the food being here. This is ridiculous and I will not be reordering from this place again!!!!!

To be fair have only been once, and the bagels in the nearly-$20 dozen+cream cheese deal tasted to us like they were a day old. Was a Saturday morning. Thats a lot of money for stale bagels that many other places would label as "day-olds" and sell for a deep discount. On the bright side, you could tell that the bagels would be decent if fresh. I wouldnt normally post a bad review, but this was a premium price for sub-par bagels that shouldnt have been offered for sale. Not cool. If I ever wind up here again, Id look closely and perhaps ask to sample a bagel.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich for my Gf with extra bacon which was an extra 2 bucks. Also cost me an extra dollar for butter on said bagel.Would have been fine, but they never put bacon on it. The omelette i ordered was severely overcooked, giving the eggs the consistency of a tire. Hash browns were clearly just out of a frozen pack and were soggy. All our food was cold btw.There are plenty of awesome breakfast spots on Philly and this isnt one of them.

Even though they are in 2nd floor i love this bagel cafe. Very friendly and helping owner... They are in BALACYNWYD area The Bagel is THE BEST in the city Im telling you! They have several kind options of breakfast and lunch as well of their homemade spread. Green Mountains Coffee Cappucino Latte and smoothies Salads,Philadelphia Cheese steak...Complimentary WIFI Highly recommended

I ordered bagels for take out over the phone to skip the line. Walked in about 10 minutes later, waited in line. I let them know that Id ordered over the phone, and that was when they started bagging up my bagels. Either learn how take-out works, or throw your phone away. Id be fine with either. The bagels, themselves, are pretty solid.

Weve had them deliver to our office now on a few occasions and I have to say, these breakfast sandwich issues are some of the best Ive ever had. The others I order with all agree, the cheese is so good! Super reasonably priced as well.
