The Caribbean menu is extensive, and all food takeout platters and soups are generously worth the money. Each featured delight of West Indian food taste like you are being served soul-food like they make authentically from their homeland. The seasonings of each large and small platter dish are seasoned to perfection, but I must warn you, if you are in the mood for a Curry Goat Platter – you must call way in advance – since this delicacy sells very fast. Also another hot seller is the Oxtail platter. Orders can be called in advance, but you must have an established relationship with the restaurant – to do so, to be aware that their time is valuable, and the food that they sell does take much time to prepare and cook. All of the family and help are super friendly; they authentically make you feel at home, as they also serve customers who want to dine-in. All dishes are served on decent china, not paper plates. Another thing I love about the Humming Bird Restaurant; you never have to worry about your take-out order, it is always well packaged in case you have other business to attend. Pros: Consistent Quality Service – Cons: Interior needs renovating

I went to the Hummingbird Diner a few days ago and the food was Amazing! I got a small curry chicken (which was more than enough) and my boyfriend got a large jerk chicken and a beef patty. He said it was some of the best jerk chicken hes ever had. The establishment was clean, and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. I will most definitely become a regular. FYI..the cabbage is out of this world!

Absolutely delicious! Whether its brown stew, curry chicken, or jerk chicken, the Caribbean cuisine here is nothing to scoff at, and everything to write home about. You wont be disappointed. Portions are generous; the folk there are respectful and kind; and most of all, appreciative for your patronage.
