UNPROFESSIONAL! UNPROFESSIONAL! Moved to Brewerytown this past summer. Getting to know the neighborhood, I walked a few blocks looking for food. I attempted to eat here 3 separate times. Day one: I walked in and grabbed a menu. No one greeted me. Second time: waitress and I caught eye contact but she ignored me and got on her phone. Told myself, third times a charm! The owner stood at the register as I walked in. I smiled, she looked away. I looked over the menu for about 10 minutes. Nobody said hello. Nobody brought silverware. Nobody knew I was even there! I wont give it anymore attempts.

People are rood... the young lady who took my order disbnot know how to tall to people.... I tell people all the times it how u talk to people .. And the price $4.50 for some cheese home fries.. thank was small as ever.... I the waiter dont know the prices.. the man at the register did not know the prices.. this is your place of business .. you cant make this up.. so not happy with the service... only in the hood

Ive eaten here a few times and love the atmosphere as well as the staff. Very family oriented and you can definitely tell! Menu selection is what you would expect from a philly diner and food is prepared right on the spot. Perfect for quick breakfasts and lunches if youre looking for a warm meal

Philly Sunnyside Diner serves up tasty breakfast and sandwiches / wraps / soups for the Brewerytown neighborhood at Girard and 28th. Friendly staff. Nice mix of a la carte and platter combos. CASH ONLY though, have cash on hand. Ill be back on my next visit to the area.
