Just left there from my first and last time eating there. Was so excited to go and was very let down. The food was dried out and it all had a nasty taste. I got 3 different types of shrimp; seasoned, fried, and stuffed. I went to eat the seasoned and they hadnt taken the shell off so you have to do it yourself so all the seasoning is taken off too then and when I went to peel the shell back it wasnt deveined! I was completely grossed out along with my company I couldnt even attempt to eat the other shrimp. When we went to complain to the waitress she told us that is how its supposed to be we told her no that you should never serve shrimp without it being deveined she then said to us she could give us a knife and cut it out ourselves! We then became outraged and she just laughed and walked away. We went to the front and asked to speak to a manager but a manager never came out. The place was trashed and the buffet had food and crawfish all over the counters! Never again if I could rate no stars I would! Im scared of getting sick now!

When going to a Chinese buffet I always try 2 things that any place serving this food shoud do at least okay. 1 the general tsos and 2 sweet and sour chicken, both of these with white rice. Now if a place cant get one, let alone either of these dishes right then you know they arent worth it. This "supreme buffet" just so happens to be one of those places. The general tsos tastes like cardboard as did the sweet and sour, the rice tasted like it had been sitting out for the past 4 hours, the lo mein was stale. They obviously dont rotate out the food. I had ordered hot tea, when I returned to my table I seen the hot tea kettle with 2 strings attached to oolong tea bags. I love oolong and thought I was in for a treat so I pour and take a sip of tea that tastests like it it came straight from the fridge. If I wanted stale iced tea I wouldve just ordered the brisk from the soda fountain. All around this place was a huge dissapointment the only positive thing was the look of the place. Never again will I step foot in this place.

BUGS ARE IN THE FOOD. DO NOT EAT HERE. I have been to this place a few times prior to today. Just like people say, the food is meh. Edible but thats it. Today however, when I went to grab some fried noodles for my duck sauce I came across a dark spot on one of the noodles so I put it back and continued to grab some other ones. I kept looking at that noodle and it didnt seem right so I pick it up again and take a closer look at it. IT WAS A ROACH LIKE INSECT COOKED HALF WAY IN THE FRIED NOODLES. YES, A BUG WAS IN THE FOOD. I have eaten at many of places fancy and not fancy and the only thing Ive ever found was hair. This is my first time a bug was baked into something. When I asked for a refund the young "manager" (was like 20) said they dont do refunds after you have sat down for 10 mins. They then offered gift cards to eat there. Right, cause thats what I want to do....eat at a place I found bugs baked into the food...again

My son went there with his boyfriend and they were harassed by another patron. After talking to the person in charge he was told there was nothing they could do. They couldnt finish their meal and they didnt even offer to comp their tab. The place is also dirty and the food is not as good as it used to be, proving even more that they are only interested in getting our money, not providing quality service. Needless to say, my son, his boyfriend and the rest of both their families will NEVER set foot in this place. Nowadays, any business serving the public should have a set plan on how to deal with disruptive, abusive, violent patrons and Hibachi on Cottman Avenue completely failed in doing so. This place gets no stars from any of us, but to be able to post this review, I had to press one.

This place used to be an excellent buffet however my fiance and I went last night for dinner and the place was a filth!!!!! There was trash on the floor, we figured they didnt get a chance to sweep after the early dinner rush so we decided to stay n eat anyway. Big mistake!! The food was just ok the selection wasnt as good as I remember it to be. They dont stay on top of keeping the buffet tables clean and neat. The pizza trays had several slices upside down and hanging off buffet table. Alot of the food was hanging over into the next food selection....ugh. But wait theres more. ...the Bathroom, Lord the bathroom was atrocious!!!! Each stall had a garbage pail and each one was spilling over with nasty toilet tissue!!!! Long story short we will NEVER go back there again!

Im really surprised at the horrid reviews of this branch. For 5 years Ive gone here and not once did I ever have a bad experience. Dont quote me, but many Asian restaurants are basically lazy. Some of them dont devein shrimp, and I understand how disgusting Americans consider that to be. On the contrary, if you truly feel the urge to complain, dont criticize publicly. Press charges, demand an inspection. I just dont believe in blasting online with reviews that you might think are fair. Thank you if you were so considerate to read this quite frank, review.

Its a buffet and its reasonable! I would rate the food 6 out of 10. Which is good but not great. The food they cook for you like noodles and fresh meat are awesome. The sushi is all low grade stuff. Not much actual raw fish and if it is raw fish its bland and low grade. That is what I expect from an all you can eat buffet. But just stating the obvious. When I want sushi I go to Ooka and not Hibachi Grill. Overall its ok, we go as a last resort because like any all you can eat buffet, nutrition and healthiness takes a back seat to profit.

So I went in today around 2:00 pm and the lady on the front desk was extremely rude. Her name plate read Katrina but I dont know if thats her real name. Who does she think she is? She was extremely rude to the customer in front of me and she gave me the same attitude. If you hate working there then just freaking quit, dont put that hatred on the customers. I would never go to Hibachi anymore because of the experience I had today. If you want your business to grow then put polite and respectful ladies up at the front desk. Thank you!

I am the average working man who cant afford lavish restaurants, but this place makes me and my family smile every single time we come. I love the friendly environment and staff. The place is very clean and so are the bathrooms and that says a lot about a place (the bathroom)!! The prices are so reasonable. I have eaten in many buffets around the Philadelphia are and this is the best so far. I so recommend this place with no regrets whatsoever. Awesome awesome place :) Go try it out you wont regret a thing!!
