This is my favorite ice cream place ever! We dont go anywhere else! Its like a small-town custard stand in the city. We love everything about it! Their ice creams & many toppings (strawberries for sundaes, for example) are homemade and absolutely delicious! The staff couldnt be friendlier! And even though they get extremely busy, they know how to keep things moving. Even if you have to wait, the wait is well worth it! They even have a drive-thru! One note: bring cash if youre not spending more than $10!

One of my favorite local home made ice cream shops. Excellent ice cream both the soft and hard varieties. All made by the shop. very reasonably priced. For years I used to get the soft vanilla ice cream with the chocolate dipped shell b/c its made with real chocolate and not wax like other places. Recently I tried the hard ice cream and found its great too. Be sure to get the pumpkin soft ice cream in the fall. Its a top stop on my BESegal Ice Cream Tour of MetroPhilly.

Great options for the summer, hot dogs and meetballs included on the menu. Ice cream, water Ice and milkshakes on the menu. Not stingy with their ice cream as the small is a scoop and a half. Waffle cones are a nice size as well. Two cones of good ice cream and two water for 10 bucks. Not bad :). Staff is fun and helpful. Only qualm is the parking lot and drive through setup.

I dont really understand the hype about this place. Ive enjoyed everything Ive gotten there the few times Ive gone but its honestly...just ice cream? Like theres nothing especially delicious about it. Lines are long, but the servers are very fast and efficient. I have no complaints, but I wanted to add some realism to the many 5 star reviews. The ice cream is pretty average.

My absolutely favorite place in the neighborhood. They make their own flavors - which are amazing! They also cater to the sweet or savory customer. Hot dogs, pretzels, they have it all. And just when you think there will be a wait, someone comes out, gets your order and by the time you get to the window, all you have to do is pay!! Check it out for yourself!

Best ice cream (or should I say custard) in the area. They have great soft serve and the hard ice cream is really great too. We really look forward to their fall selections like the pumpkin spice cookie and egg nog when it becomes available late in the season. The prices are reasonable and is a great place for a cold treat with friends and family.

They have great flavors. Everything is made in-house. Very friendly service and the prices are equally friendly. Just get in early or youll find a line going down the block. Pro tip: avoid the drive through during busy times. The line blocks traffic on the road and youll wait twice as long.

The service here is quite prompt and the product is delicious. The catch here is that any order under $10 you need cash only. Otherwise it is an incredibly popular place to get ice cream and you will almost always find a line of cars waiting to get into the lot as you go up Ridge Ave.

I discovered the Creamery after I moved to Roxborough. All I can say is "mind blown. " Ridiculously delish and FRESH ice cream. Everything is top notch. Even though I settled in University City, I still go to the Creamery at least twice a week.

By far the best ice cream in Philly. The coffee milkshake is what dreams are made of and I never get tired of it. There is usually a long line when the weather is nice and they have a $10 minimum for card transactions. Also only open spring-fall

Great ice cream and service! Lots of options. There is a drive thru and parking lot, but the drive thru can get backed up making it hard to park. There is street parking around. Very busy on weekend nights during summer!

This ice cream spot is a great neighborhood gathering place. I had a medium rocky road in a pretzel cone which was absolutely perfect. Medium was more like large, so if youre in to portion control get a small.
