The best way I can describe Villa Italia Ristorante is that you are not a customer or money in the bank; You are family and friends. Great food in a family friendly atmosphere. The owner doesnt come in and sit off by himself in a private booth or in his office; he is constantly moving around the room siting, talking, and socializing with every one who comes in. It dont matter if your wealthy or poverty stricken; Mr. S treats every one with the same respect and personalized service no matter what. Dont come to Oil City and not stop at Villa Italia Ristorante; It will be the best experience of your visit to our town.

Consistently excellent food! How many other places can keep it superior all the time? Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Never have to worry if it is open. Everything is good-never had a bad or even so-so meal. Sam, the owner, is one of the friendliest folks I have ever met, and is a well-respected business man in the Oil City area. I have a meal there any time I am in town. You wont be disappointed, and if you are, then there is something wrong with you:) !

When Sam first opened the" Pizza Villa" back in or around 1960, he made genuine Italian pizza. I dont know why he ever changed his recipe but I dont like his pizza anymore. I was spoiled by the original. However, he does have the best subs Ive ever eaten. A lot of my friends that dont live here anymore, always come back for a sub. Nix on the pizza, though. Also dont like the fact that he will not take credit cards.

The experience was horrible. The staff is very unattentative. I went in at 9:29 and they said i could be there which was outrageous. The atmoshpere of the place is very dull and out dated. I would never go back there every again. I would suggeat going down the the mcdonalds instead.

The one waitress was working late at night she knew my girl friend and was saying ignorant things about her ex boy friend Ill never eat their the service was good food wasnt the best it was burnt this waitress should kept her business out of work

Food is ok and nothing special or outstanding. 3 stars because its 2017 and its cash or check only. I get that businesses have a cost when it comes to excepting credit / debt card payment but in todays market there are lower cost options.

I was born and raised in Oil City and have since lived in Ohio. The Deluxe Italian is "the best" sub I have ever had here or in Ohio. Every time I come home to visit my family, I get a sub, plus one to take back to Ohio!

Neat atmosphere. I ordered a full size Italian sub (only 8") but it was very good. Very messy though and hard to eat while driving. My coworker did not care for his sandwich though (turkey). Cash only too.

A landmark in Venango County. The deluxe sub is Famous.. whenever people return home to Oil City, a good portion of them go to "the villa".
