Okay, I admit it. Im a bit of a pretzel snob. Bake em myself so I know what goes into making them. I search out pretzel plaaces along my trails. So Im on my way to Piladelphia and take the back roads off the death strips (hwy) and drop into Dutch Country. Bought the usual 2 bags and take them home and freeze them, drop them in the toaster for breakfast with some various kinds of mustard and heres my field report. These are the the real deal. Probably the best recipe Ive tasted. Definately not the greasy stuff you find in the Malls or at Auntie Annies. Just pure goodness authentically made. Im going to find my way back. bank on it. T-B

Im stuck on the whole wheat version. Ive only seen it in the freezer because they dont make them as often as the other varieties, but they warm up perfectly in the oven. Yes, as good as Auntie Annies, and the only place with whole wheat, which have a superior savory flavor aspect and are actually healthy for you haha Headed there now after a 2-week wait for them to re-stock. Call ahead for wh.wheat version. I do because I dont want to ride an hour just to ride home empty handed.

I love the plain ol regular pretzels the best. The pretzel wrap was okay. Will try the ham and cheese next. Excited to see that they have Slush Puppies and soft ice-cream now, too. Cant have ice-cream without pretzels! --- not here in Lancaster County any way ;) I also appreciate that they accept cards for payment. So many other places miss out on my business, because I rarely carry cash.
