The food was very good, the service was not! It is also very evident that the employees we experienced are not happy about afro americans coming into their establishment. We are usually very big tippers but not today. It was apparent that even the manager in charge could care less if we were satisfied. I am white and mt daughter is bi racial. She paid (my birthday) and would normally tip at least 20% but the waitress got $2.00 on a 43.00 tab. They might have to learn a difficult lesson. Others that experience these type of actions do a lot more than just a small tip (she did not want to tip at all) but they could face a law suit through the NAACP. Very sad when everywhere else we went we were treated kindly and with respect. Sorry for people like you that still inhabit such a beautiful environment that God created all around you and you are so small minded and uneducated.

I went here to have dinner with my famiyl. My wife ordered a pasta dish and it was huge. I had a chicken dish and my kids had burgers and chicken fingers. The appertizers were out of this world. We had cocktails too. The service was the best. She was funny, and always checking on us. For dessert the kids had ice cream and jello my wife had their peanut butter pie and I had thier raspberry chocolate cake. We had such a good time we went back without the kids on another day and went to thier happy hour which was a blast and had dinner and the whole nine yards again. Once again it was a 10. I would recommend that you dine here. It was great a great price, the decor was great and everybody was fantastic!

When we first got to the area and passed by this place I wrote it off as just a diner connected to a gift shop. Boy was I wrong! We finally went in for dinner with only a week left in the area before we leave and I am kicking myself for not going sooner. The menu is full of variety, and every basic staple of it is done in a unique and flavor packed way! They obviously have some fine dining chefs chained up in the back churning out even their basic burgers. I had the Chicken Neptune, and it took me completely by surprise it was so amazing. The staff was also very friendly and VERY helpful going through specials and recommendations.

I was on my way home from a Tenn vacation and lamenting that the last Shoneys that I stopped at on Monday was out of liver & onions, as I approached Milford on Tuesday, I put Shoneys into the computer, alas the closest was 130 miles behind me, I then saw the sign for Apple Valley. What a wonderful choice, nice, clean and friendly and Liver & Onions on the menu, ^someone^ still answers prayers. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone travelling through on I-84, there is something on the menu for everyone. Tell the Google user to get the L&O if he still leaves hungry, He eats to much!

The lady with the burger comments is crazy! Ive been going to Apple Valley for years and they make a GREAT burger and its the same size its always been. They also have great bourbon wings and my favorite thing on the menu is the rib eye steak. Great, comfortable place to hang out and have a nice meal with the family. Very kid friendly too! My five year old daughter says they have "the best pizza in the whole world" and she wont let my husband steal a piece of hers even though its huge. Also, they gave the place a fresh new look recently and it came out great. Love the tin ceilings.

Took the family there over this past weekend for a burger only to find that the hamburgers are smaller and the buns are new. The bun was gross and dry and all you tasted was the bun. Told Steve Metzger that the bun is bad and to go back to the old ones; his reply was well your the only ones that didnt like it everyone else liked it. What kind of owner says that to customers? They redid the kitchen and made minor upgrades to the interior so I guess someone has to pay for the upgrades - same price smaller burger - wont be going back there any time soon.

We stop here when ever up in the Milford area on way to Lake Wallenpaupack. BIg menu with huge selection for anyone. Always friendly and consistent good food. Affordable meals with good value and the place is very clean to boot. Pasta dishes are great as are the bbq beef brisket and ribs. Apple Valley has ponds and small gift shops to walk around if there is a wait for a table and Milford is nice with the small shops and other restaurant also. Just went there recently and noticed that they renovated the whole palce, very nice and great as usual

The.restaurant looked nice and prices seemed ok. We went in. They were out of many beers advertised. The food was okay. The crab cake was good but average. Dont order the fajitas. They were down right disgusting. A shame because it came with a nice plate with fresh tomatoes ,and misc fixens. The chicken was the precooked frozen ones you get from costcos. Rubbery and chewy.the potsticker app was overpriced for 5 deep fried pieces but tasty. This place seems like a tourist trap. Keep going would be my advice.

We were here for a pre-graduation dinner and gathering of family. The menu selection was nice, but my mother-in-law had the prime rib and it was half fat and grizzle. Staff seemed very friendly, but we couldnt get actual service when it was needed. One childs fork bent from trying to cut meat. Overall, it wasnt impressive. It was 3 years since the last family event, because of similar experiences, and will be at least 3 more years before we go there again and pay that much.

I was Camping at Kittatinny Canoes River Beach Campsites in Milford, PA over the Memorial Day weekend and visiting with my Daughter and her Husband who live here. We all enjoyed an awesome dinner together here before I headed back home to Sayville New York. The Restaurant has such a rustic look and feel to it and I look forward to my next trip to this beautiful area in the Pocono Mountains.

Service was good. However, I thought the food was only average and could stand to be cheaper. Also, the old-style wood furniture was quite uncomfortable. Note: They have a 10% AAA discount. The restaurant appears to be popular with the locals but that could be because its the only game in town late Sunday evening.

The food is good. Wife and i ordered take out . My wife paid and noticed she was 10 dollars short. She told the cashier and the cashier gave her the 10 dollars back while rolling her eyes. No tip for you after you tried to steal 10 dollars from us. If you order take out make sure you count your change

This was the 4th and final time trying to dine here during the week. The food has no consistency, order a meal once its fantastic, order it a second time and its horrible. Wait staff is ok, best service is in the main dining room. Weekends ARE very busy with tourists dining and visiting the shoppes.
