We enjoy a wide variety of ethnic foods, especially good Thai food, so we go out of our way to learn about good restaurants that offer good food. We purchased an entertainment book for that very reason, and found this place through the entertainment book, which had a 25% off coupon up to $25 value. So we made the trip from York to Mechanicsburg (40 minute drive) to give this place a try. Because we had a bad experience at a different restaurant who would not honor the entertainment book coupon, we asked when we arrived if there would be a problem. 2 of the workers looked at the coupon and said "no this is not us". I showed them the name (Thai Cafe) and address matched their place, and they replied, "its too old". I showed them the expiration date of 12/31/17 (still 5 months away), and they said they still could not take it. Very frustrating. They have an opportunity to promote their restaurant and get new customers, who may get 25% off on their first visit, but when they come back, they pay full price. Its a one time discount for new people to try their place. But since they would not honor their promotion, we walked out and tried a different restaurant.

02/16/2016 - I arranged to meet friends there, for lunch, today. We got there at 11:30 to find a "Closed" sign on the door and no sign of any light or movement inside. Called the phone number and got no answer. So what if we drove from 5 to 10 miles away? We had to find somewhere else to eat.

Their food was awesome! They gave me spring rolls and wontons Im not sure if they came with my meal but they were very generous. I work at a call center and sometimes we order out as a team (22 people) and i think next time we will be ordering from here!

The food and service at this place is very good. This is the second time I have been to the Thai Cafe and both experiences have been good. The restarant is small with a nice feel to it. I will be back for another meal sometime.

The food was good. Just watch for hair in your food. We found hair and told the owner, he did nothing. We wont be back there for a long time.
