This place opened when we moved to the area, and it was great. Slightly high on price, but the convenience made up for that. Since then, the prices have gone up at least twice, and the service has gone down. Theyve even gone so far as to stop posting the prices since theyre constantly increasing. Ive waited over 30 minutes there to get a bowl of soup and a sandwich, which is not easy when you have kids. Even worse is the fact that the food is nothing special. The $9 Turkey Sandwich my wife recently got was good, but not $9 worth of good. $6? Maybe. The bottom line for me is that Id rather drive into Carlisle and get Panera for less money than patronize a local store, and thats tough to write. Do yourself a favor and drive the 5 miles over to Mount Holly and check out the recently opened Crumbs. Its everything Cafe 101 used to be, plus they make their own bread.

The food, decor, and service are all great. The coffee, however, is wanting. That said, it is better than the A+ mini mart coffee across the street, and if you bring a refillable cup the coffee is reasonably priced: $1.01. Family friendly. The staff are quick to give you a treat to take to your dog. Excellent place to tie into a walk around the lake. Local customers are quick to great you or to talk about current events, yet it is still a good place for a business meeting. Beware pulling into their parking lot. Very real risk of bottoming out with your car.

This is the place! Seems like every hiker, biker, and runner stops here for refreshment. AND for good reason! They offer a nice selection of coffee, pastries, ice cream, and light fare. With indoor or outdoor seating, theres plenty of room to accommodate you and your friends. And everyone - the staff and the patrons - are friendly and happy to converse. Make Caffe 101 your next stop when you visit Boiling Springs.

Prices are too high for the local area. I guess they would have to be high if u were trying to make a living in a restaurant that is only open for half the day. Breakfast and lunch served only. The food is just average, nothing special. My advice is too drive a few miles north to Carlisle to get more for ur money.

I enjoyed everything about the visit: spinach quiche, salad, pastry, mocha java, and friendly service. Ive been here numerous times since my original review. Today I had the Eggs Benedict Florentine. Yum! I like Panera. But the food and coffee are better here.

Amazing food that is ridiculously affordably priced. Counter service is prompt, friendly, and helpful. The inside seating is a cross between a diner and a coffee shop and the outdoor seating is shaded and very inviting. Highly recommended!

Cute little place with good portions of food and a lively atmosphere. The service is nice and they have an open mic night every first Thursday of the month! Check this place out. P.S. Try their French Dip sandwich ;)

Excellent breakfast. Wifey loved the stuffed french toast and specialty cofee; and my traditional 2-egg, meat, homefries meal was great. We both enjoyed the quaint, scenic view of Boiling Springs Lake.

This is my favorite breakfast spot. The baked oatmeal is the best Ive ever had. When the weather is nice eating outside enhances the experience. Boiling Springs is a quaint location.

A little overpriced, but thats how most trendy places are these days. I always stop there when in Boiling Springs and take advantage of the outdoor seating, if the weather permits
