Small Hoagie / Sub / Cheesesteak place on Simpson Ferry & Wesley Drive. It is right next to the east gate plaza. Ive been there for lunch 3 times now in the past month. I originally reviewed this, but filed it under the wrong address, there are like 3 businesses with this same name in the HBG / MBG / CAR area. You can buy an 8, 10 or 12 inch cheese steak, cheese, onions, the works, whatever you want. fries are pretty decent, a standard lunch costs around 7 - 8 bucks, its pretty good. it has a similar layout to what Genos has with photographs of the owner and their family all over the country with different celebrities, famous people, politicians, musicians, etc.

We had a bowling tournament in the area, and passed this on the way in.....we had plans to go to another place, but something brought us back to here. We had a pizza steak and international hoagie and both were awesome!!! And Im originally from Philly, so Im pretty picky when it comes to those 2 things. The staff were friendly, the place was comfortable and clean and the prices were also good. I would definitely go there again if we were in the area. Wish we had a place like this in Berks County!

To die for...a guilty pleasure. We discovered this little place shortly after we moved to Pennsylvania from out of state. We were always intrigued by the signs on the building encouraging you to stop by and visit. We were not disappointed! The steak sandwiches are unbelievable and the fries fantastic! This service is always friendly and fast. The owner is always present and welcomes you with a big smile! Highly recommended!

Hubs got an Italian, was good but on the small side. I got a steak salad that was $10 and nothing but iceberg topped with 2 folded slices of provolone and unseasoned "steakems"? House sauce(on menu) was missing even when asked for. Mini fries were a mini mistake, stale and flavorless. On the bright side the employee was nice! Found our new Hoagie dig already though! On the Carlisle pike worth the extra few minutes drive!

My wife and I love this place! The owner is always there and very friendly and greets every single customer. The food is amazing as well. Never had a bad experience, and Im sure everything on the menu is worth trying, Im just a "find something you like and stick with it" kinda guy. That being said, you cant go wrong with the American Philly. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

My husband and I split a medium Cheesesteak Special along with an order of cheese fries and it was sooo good! We left there wondering how you get so much flavor into the sandwich! We will definitely be back! Way better than the other steak subs weve had in this area. THANK YOU! Edit: A "large" order of fries completely fills a large styrofoam to-go box.

We were traveling from Rochester, NY to DC and stopped here because of the great reviews. Wow, I have no idea why people like this place. The food is mediocre at best, and its smokey inside from the grill. The subs are small and they arent cheap. Maybe, were just spoiled from the amazing food in NY, because this place certainly doesnt compare.

Driving East on the 76, I was tasked by the driver with finding us the best cheesesteak before we reached Philly. Without a doubt, I made the right choice coming here. Sandwiches were amazing and the owner was an all around great person. I only wish they were open Sundays for our return trip home!

I have driven by here for years , and after this visit, wish I hadnt. Ordered the Classic Cheesesteak, and mini fries , and was very pleased ,as it was terrific. Owner was very friendly and and greeted us as we walked in . This place is now my go to for a Philly cheesesteak, well done !!!!

Decided to stop and pick a hoagie up for a coworker. Ended up with an amazing conversation with the owner about the "questions on the wall" and two amazing hoagies. Not a fancy place but the hoagies are so delicious.

Come here if you want a real cheesesteak. Seriously, the best cheesesteaks outside of Pats, Ginos, or Jims in Philly. A 12" with wiz, no onions. Order that and youll be in a state of bliss just like I was.
