After eating here, I am adding one more item to my list of why the U.S. is the greatest (i.e., screw you Europe): WAITSTAFF. Bulls Head promises the authentic English pub experience. Well, maybe the English love uncontrolled chaos, but me, not so much. There is no hostess, no waitstaff, only elbowing, butting, and almost-fisticuffs in an effort to get (a) your table, (b) your food, and (c) your check. You must be able to instantaneously scan the room for empty or soon-to-be empty tables, then make a mad race for said tables, which you are supposed to claim by laying your coat over the chair when you head to the bar to order. Forget it! I had a $60 coat on! Im not laying it anywhere and then turning my back on it. So I lay a menu over the chair instead. Then my friend and I had to punch, kick, gouge, scratch, and head-butt our way to the bar to order our food. Even then, people were shouting out their orders over other peoples heads, inserting themselves between other diners, and shoving others out of the way. Finally we made ourselves understood, and were given a basket with a spoon in it that bore a painted number which, presumably, correlated to our order. We waded back through the melee to our table and waited...and waited. People who had ordered after us were being served before we were. Just as I was getting a bit miffed, our food was brought to us. I had ordered a burger. It was cooked to my specifications, but it was lukewarm, so I knew it had been sitting around in the kitchen for a while. So there you have it: no waitstaff, no responsibility, no service. When we finished eating, we had to once again beat everyone up to get to the bar and get our check. They give you the check and you pay right there and then. Not so handy when there are two of you and you have to try to figure out right on the spot, while other people are breathing down your neck, who owes how much and what the tip should be. Luckily we split the bill two ways and I gave the appropriate tip: Nothing. This might be an enjoyable place to eat if they treated their diners right, but as is, all I can say is the food tasted OK but the experience of dining there is piss poor.

Bad service, pathetic food, and pricey. My friends and I went there and ordered food. We sat out back. After we ordered it took 45 minutes to bring out a salad that wasnt even chopped up, the lettuce was in 3 huge pieces and it had hard as hell croutons on it with a few tomatoes, hardly any cheese with hardly any dressing. My boyfriend got a pork sandwich which was super tough and fatty. My other friends food didnt come out the same time ours did. Obviously we waited for our friends food to come out. We flagged the waiter down which who was hardly seen during the entire experience said that his order wasnt put in. We waited another 30 minutes for his salad to come out. His said looked just like Cole slaw, it wasnt even a salad. Bc they messed up my friends order, he did get it for free. However, my boyfriends food was cold so we had them reheat the sandwich. When they reheated it they took all of his french friends off his plate in the back to reheat the sandwich and didnt even replenish the French fries. The food was expensive and unacceptable, the service was horrible, needless to say we will not be back. Piss Poor experience.

You better ask how much a drink cost before you order......right? Never had to do that in all my years. You expect your not going to get price gouged so who do you know ask how much for a beer before they order. Ordered a micro brew from N. C. last night. I had the same beer a week prior in Atlanta and paid $8.00. Not bad for a micro in a big city. Glad I only was there for one. Got my bill and wow, $15.00. Yes in Lititz, $15.00 for a bottle of micro from N.C.. That comes out to $360.00 a case. I questioned the bartender and he said thats the price. Really good answer, like I cant read the bill. I said this is why people dont return. He told me to get out he didnt want my money. I guess at $15.00 a bottle, if you get half the people in the gouge, you are still ahead. Really good customer service........dont you think? By the way, I paid the $15.00, but never to return.

One of my favorite places! The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing or having a drink with a friend. I never feel rushed and I appreciate the beer selection. To be fair the bottle selection dropped off dramatically when the new bar manager arrived, hes a former Troegs employee and has brought some of their beers to the tap selection. Its become a bit IPA heavy as well. That being said I have never been there and not found something to drink. They even had a JW Lees on tap this year which is rare to find. I do wish they would bring back some of the rarer bottles. The bar staff are personable and knowledgeable which makes it nice when trying to figure out if you will like a certain beer. I am glad to have a place like this to go to.

Great atmosphere, delicious food and an excellent beer selection. This is a British style pub so you need to order your food and drinks from the bar. The bartenders and very knowledgeable about the beer on tap and can help you make a beer selection if you are unfamiliar with some of the styles. I have never had anything to eat that I didnt like and the portions are generous. I have tried all of the meat pies and they are very filling and delicious. The place can fill up quickly because it is so popular but it normally doesnt take too long to find a table opening up. The seating outside is also nice if the weather is good.

If youre ever in Lititz or the area you must visit the Bulls Head Pub! The food is excellent as is the selection of tap beers. The most impressive aspect is the staff! As soon as we came in God a seat and told the Bartender we were newbies he took great care of us and showed us the way. Our serves and all staff treated us as family and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and enjoyed our meal and drinks. We will always visit when we are in town! Thanks for an AWESOME Anniversary Dinner Bulls Head Pub.!!!!!

I dont undertsand all the hype with this place. Be prepared to stand in line at the bar and overpay for your drink. The seating is "first come first serve" and theres no one bussing the tables fast enough so its customary to sit at a dirty table and flag someone down to clean it. You order your food at the bar, have a seat, they bring it to your table and thats all the "service" you get. If you want another drink you have to wait in line at the bar... I dont get it.

A fun, low- key restaurant. I got the Scotch Egg for an appetizer, and it was fantastic (will definitely get it again). For the entree I got their Shepherds Pie, which was classic. I dont know if it was for me, but I think they did a great job and it tasted really fresh. Everyone that went had a great time and loved their food. I will definitely be going back.
